Thanks man!! We look forward to putting more great videos out! Have you checked out latest video up yesterday, catching sharks on the fly rod, cobia and big flounder on spinning rods!
Fantastic video! Love the editing, and the insight is fantastic! Would love to see more content like this... Been fishing offshore for years but just started getting into inshore fishing this summer (also on JI). Keep up the great work, hope to see y’all out there on the water.
Hey how’s it going, Was wondering if you could give me some tips on saltwater fishing in Charleston? Recently moved here and getting back into fishing. Only used to fish the lakes for largemouth in Virginia, but since I’ve been stationed here, I’ve been striking out in the saltwater. I’ve got a 21 foot boat and mainly use cut bait, squid, and shrimp. All I seem to catch is few croaker, few rays/skate, and couple eels, I’ve caught maybe 2 reds and are always under limit. Usually put in on Ashley river and go over to sullivans island
Any tips for boat-less people? I’m here in mount pleasant and I love fishing iop, Sullivan’s, folly.. but I’m not sure what to use I just always get fresh shrimp shrimp but they don’t bite. I always buy soft plastics and D.O.A shrimp but i’m not sure how to rig them up
We were working the minnows on Eye Strike 1/4oz jigheads staying very tight to the bottom sweeping it slowly across the structure! You can't go wrong with the Zman TRD and the TRD finesse working it same way as you would a minnow. Also a go-to for us is the 3 inch minnowz on a jighead, it catches everything. And as far as color, you want to match the hatch and the conditions! Let us know if we can be of any more help!
@@alexw.outdoors4269 You could go either way, but I would recommend you use shrimp for grass/shallow fishing for reds, and the worms for deep water or structures.

Howdy! How were you working the minnow, and what tips would you recommend for throwing artificials for those three species? Thanks!

@@shorethingoutfitters6212 thank you for the help. Though, by the TRD stuff, would you recommend shrimp shapes or just the ned rig style worm? Thanks

@@joemichaelson7606 We agree!
