Make a Webflow form checkbox required

Out of the box, Webflow does not allow you to make a group of form checkboxes required. This webflow tutorial walks you through adding a simple code snippet to your site that will require your users to make at least one selection from a group of checkboxes.

You can also select whatever you want on your text form and under settings in webflow you can select required, then an error message will show up for each one not submitted.

Glad it was helpful! For a question that only allows on option to be selected, I would use a Radio Button - not a checkbox. Then you won’t need any custom code either 👍
