like a boss. Amazing! I had no idea you could do this.
Kyle, do you or your team do private projects inre Formstack?
Thanks!
Just what I needed. Thank you!!
Amazing video. Like how you explain everything as if i'm a 10 year old. Makes it extremly easy to understand and create amazing tools. Thanks and carry on. 🦾
Great video!
What if the kick-off date changed but I don't want to recreate all tasks? Can that be automated too? Thanks for the guide, super helpful!
Thank you. 👍👍👌
Thank you. Very good video 👍
What's up kyle, greatings from Colombia. I have a cuestion. When you make the integration between the form and the document, and create a field to long text, and paste a imagen there, then in the document of word, that imagen going to appears there or not?. I have this cuestion because in others platforms only appears the name of the imagen but not the picture, for example: "img_00002".
Awesome! Magic Button! I'll look for the update more genius tips for airtable and make. THANK YOU!
what is the code if I have to pass more than 1 records? Thanks
That's very useful. Thank you so much!
Just spent 5 hours today listening to chatgpt tell me to create enough code to take man back to the moon only for it to not work as well as this does.. Thanks for the video
It would be good to see how we get a client to complete a 3rd party form (such as a government pdf form) in a way where the client actually sees the government document in real time as they complete the fields, rather than just provide us with field information and then we populate that field data into the government pdf form once submitted. I suspect that if the selected original doc type is a fillable pdf they could do this.
Hi! Would that be something that can avoid spam? I have a reCaptcha in my form, but it seems not to work very well.
i have an issue with this, make basically just reads the record id but it is not dynamic as make only reads 1st row of airtable? It seems every row have different set of recordids?
To be able to use Script need a paid plan but I have another neat trick to get the record id without using script. just Add Button Filed and add this to URL Formula "<Your-Webhook-URL>?record_id="&RECORD_ID() This will send a record id when clicked on that button for that particular row.
Great idea, super helpful. Next step, bulk pulling the state over. Seems like this could be done with a rollup on the new table using array unique then convert to single select?
it become in the paid version "run a script" in airtable
could you explain how to implement that as an automation ? would be great to have attachments automatically optimised when they enter a view.
Awesome man, Thanks! Subscribed
You are awesome!
I'm a huge fan of diagrams and the way you just explained.
you've solved an issue i've been struggling with for a long time. Thanks!!
So you have to run a script in order to connect airtable to make ?
a way to do it longer and harder this doesn't make any sense you're doing the whole process manually
Yep - you are right. Things have changed a bit in the three years since I posted this.
I rarely comment on videos. But this was what I needed.
I’m glad it helped!!
How can i use aggreator and iterator i am facing the issue.
For anyone who this didn't work for, I had to replace the lines at the end (google.maps.event.addDomListener...) with this: document.addEventListener('DOMContentLoaded', function() { initialize(); }); </SCRIPT> <script src="maps.googleapis.com/maps/api/js?key=[*YOUR API KEY]&callback=initialize" async defer></script>
hello I had ideas for automation but I don't know if it is feasible, and what you can help me understand
What the screen recording software?
This is great to connect automations! so useful! Subscribed!
Thanks for the sub!
Sweet!
Thanks!
really useful - and clear - thanks!
Glad it was helpful!
does it break anything to have multiple instances of this on one page?
I came to revisit this, because I was having problems with my alternative implementation that I recently switched too, as ever since they updated to the new Google Maps API V3, this solution no longer works. I keep getting a browser error that says "ZERO_RESULTS". However that alternative, had its own issues, so I was trying to go for a more "raw" implementation, and yeah, I just cannot make this work with the new Google Maps API. Also, there's almost no way to import the JSON now...I found one exceeeedingly hacky method, but other then that, I cannot believe how badly Google has beat up their own product. Wow. Would love to see an update to this video on how to implement (if even possible) with the new Google Maps API.
I'm having the same issues. Any solution?
@@ICTOceania Not yet -- it's been really frustrating trying to find a solution for this. Google has been really beating up their brand lately.
It seems Google Maps have been tightening up lately. I’ve made the switch to Mapbox, which felt like a learning curve at first but I’m please with the process and unique maps! Free plan too.
Thank you Kyle - I am curious to know how I would have the document push to Trello from Formstack Documents, rather than sending me an email with attachment. Is this doable?
In this case I would look at using a different delivery method on the document - likely a webhook, as I’m not sure if they have a built in Trello integration. Then you’d look to use a tool like Zapier or Make to take the document from the webhook, and then push it to Trello.
You are a Crack, thank you for sharing!!
Thanks for watching!
great
Zapier, Make, Nobull, Whalesync and all other just work for CMS Items but not for Ecommerce Products, so you have to use a workaround with webhooks which is annoying. The Ecommerce sector is huge, but why does weblow not care?
I heard the CTO of Webflow speak at Webflow conf last year… my take away was that they are focusing on being the best website development platform… But for more specialized feature sets- like e-commerce, membership sites, etc - they want to help you get off the ground, but eventually know that you will graduate into other specialized platforms like Shopify. Another way to look at it, is that e-commerce is so large, it would take an extremely significant development effort to even begin competing with Shopify. And because there are so many other things they would like to focus on when it comes to improving their core platform, They strategically decided to focus their development resources elsewhere
@@nocodecollab Webflow is the best and I am loving it but when it comes to ecommerce there are limits and its workarounds makes things complicated where it shouldn´t be, like Zapier, Nobull, etc. are just working for cms items but not for product without workarounds. And CSV-Import and Export without all features could be solved easily but they don´t change it. Still I will stick to webflow and hope one day I can use my time more efficient.
FYI I had to add this to the STYLE code to get the meter to work in the current Webflow developer .meter-level {background-color: white; }
Thanks for sharing!
Just implemented your solution and it worked great. Thank you!
Great to hear!
This was extremely helpful! Thanks alot!
