Being that SR is gone but never forgotten RIP SR... There's no two better people in this sport to have on an interview than Mikey and JR. You two guys are legends in my world. I wish you all the best in whatever you decide to do.

I'm so glad that you were forced to be a normal guy before your success! Makes you relatable and you grew up as Nascars Son, so you can always influence the sport.

My son used to irace many years ago! One day he told me he was racing against Jr and told me that there was a new guy that someday we would hear about him, and that was Denny Hamlin! Small world!

It’s clear that Jr has his dads tenacity as a racer but what makes Dale Jr different than his dad as a person is the willingness and ability to speak the truth about his feelings. He is so reassuring and comforting and seems to have a certain peace about losing his dad that he imparts on others. I appreciate this so much.

I have grew up with nascar in my blood, raised at North Carolina Motor Speedway. Actually old enough to have met Mr. LG DeWitt, my gpa worked for over 40 years for the DeWitts, was on a Winston Cup Champion team from 1973! Anyway seeing the guys and hearing about things that they were up to when I was working at the track brings tears to a grateful guy here! I am a Motorsports freak and love all racing, can’t wait to see them back at the track! Great show Mikey you and Dale move us as fans and give all of us I’m sure that laugh we need or tear that needs to be released! Thanks guys

I’ve watched “In the blink of an eye” dozens of times. I loved when you came in 1 and Jr 2 and then July of 2001 Jr is 1 and you lead him being #2. I love your story. I love Buffy and everything you both do to make Dale Sr. Vision alive. I always believed in you 1-463 sounds much better than 0-463. That moment you and your brother had when his heart was breaking with Dale is inspiring.

Micheal Waltrip deserves a lot of credit too! The grieving process is very difficult and affects others so differently and at a wide variety of intensities! The loss of Dale was tragic, but it has been a trauma for Micheal. I pray for all closely related to that February day, but especially to Micheal for he relives that day daily. I pray for you Micheal and it is my fervent prayer that you can try to release those memories that haunt you and embrace peace and comfort.

Michael, This was a fantastic hour of conversation with Dale Jr! So many great messages here: From humble beginnings to the pinnacle for the both of you, and to be able to listen to your conversation in an unassuming, down to earth moment was special for me. I hope your movie and the feedback you have received from it, and this conversation with Dale Jr. brings so positive closure for you. Piece, my friend.

Great show! Gain more respect for Dale Jr every time I hear him talk - he has a great perspective on life and he's certainly a chip off the Earnhardt block. Also much respect for Michael Waltrip and his willingness to share how Dale Sr influenced him and how his passing still affects him to this day. If you haven't seen In the Blink of An Eye you should because it is very good!

My fav interview with Dale Jr. The reason Dale Jr. Had a dafeatest attitude towards his late model race n sat n drowned his sorrow's in a bottle is he was never taught confidence by his father as a child or how to handle losing. No wonder he needed therapy as a adult. Right there with you . I'm sure you will be able to be a much better parent n father.

This came up in a comment from another video I watched, but when Dale Sr. was racing, if you were a fan or not, you come in late to watch the race or you pull up beside somebody and the race is on, you go' who's winning? If they said something like, waltrip,or Davey Allison, etc. ,,,Then you would ask, where's Earnhardt? Everyone did it at some point. Others did it everytime. Well he's always in Victory Lane Now. 3 wise men,3 wooden cross' 3 days to resurrection, John 3:16, dale sr. 3.,,me🤔, Dale Earnhardt 🏁😉.

I don't understand something about I racing . Question: Do you have to race in cockpit view ? Im curious because I race on ps4 Nascar Heat 3 at times and I have to have a full car view . The reason i have to have this view is i need to know what my rear end is doing . Ive never raced anything real but I could imagine in true life you would " feel " what your rear is doing and know how to make automatic decisions to keep the car from getting out from under you . I have to see cars rear to make those slight adjustments while slinging around the track . Plus with the poor AI spotter seeing my rear allows me to clear somebody more cleanly. I totally admit im a consol player and heat 3 or 4 can't nowhere be as accurate as the I racing .............but not being able to feel them back wheels has got to be a challenge.
