Yes, you can do that. It’ll just take a little effort to clean the unit after you use it. You could even purée fresh fruit add just a little water then freeze it. Experimenting is half the fun!

That can be a little tricky. It does come apart but I’ve never attempted it! I only use pure ice so there’s no food produce in mine. Maybe when I get caught up with “stuff” I’ll do a follow up and taking it apart to deep clean it….. Thanks for watching and suggesting a follow up.👍

To get it to shave the ice, it will need to be a single piece of Ice. Cubes will chip instead of shaving. You’ll love it! I think I’ve had mine for 3years now. I’ve considered Puréeing fruit and mix with a little water and freezing it! Only concern is how to clean up the machine…. But it sounds delicious 😁

Pre freeze ice in plastic cups about 3/4 full. When you start shaving the ice, start with gentle pressure and gradually increase pushing the handle until you start getting the snow like shavings. You’re going to love it! I started with a plastic one that made gritty ice chips… not what I wanted. Then I just got lucky when I bought this one! Two years running and still happy😁

No, but I’m guessing it would work even better and would come out even more “snow like”! I have put both cream on the ice as well as covered a scoop of ice cream with the ice. Both were delicious! One concern for using frozen milk is making sure that you clean the blades and machine very well. It’s all one unit so you can’t immerse in water nor put it in the dishwasher 🥴. I have also thought of flavoring the ice! Fresh fruit liquified or a sugary kool-aid mix. Hmmm, maybe a Ice Machine II VIDEO 🥴 Thanks for watching 👍👍
In the Caribbean we eat the snowconr with the syrup and condense milk drizzled over it. Its delicious. Its almost the same idea as the ice cream on the bottom.

I have the same machine. It is much better to put a solid piece of ice instead of cubes. Its a more fluffier texture. I use my machine everyday. I dont make snowcones I only eat the fluffy ice!!!

Hmmm, mine does shave it like snow, not chunky at all. Try freezing a plastic cup a little more than 1/2 full. Then gently apply pressure downward with the handle. Then increase or decrease the pressure to obtain the fluffy snow like ice. Did you use just ice cubes? That might give you chunks? I’ve had mine a couple of years now with no problems. Before I had a plastic one and it was terrible.

Have you tried using frozen milk instead of ice?
No, but I’m guessing it would work even better and would come out even more “snow like”! I have put both cream on the ice as well as covered a scoop of ice cream with the ice. Both were delicious!
One concern for using frozen milk is making sure that you clean the blades and machine very well. It’s all one unit so you can’t immerse in water nor put it in the dishwasher 🥴. I have also thought of flavoring the ice! Fresh fruit liquified or a sugary kool-aid mix. Hmmm, maybe a Ice Machine II VIDEO 🥴

In the Caribbean we eat the snowconr with the syrup and condense milk drizzled over it. Its delicious. Its almost the same idea as the ice cream on the bottom.

I have the same machine. It is much better to put a solid piece of ice instead of cubes. Its a more fluffier texture. I use my machine everyday. I dont make snowcones I only eat the fluffy ice!!!

Does shave Hawaiian ice. It's chunky like a slushy. I have this. If you want soft shaved ice, do not buy this!
Hmmm, mine does shave it like snow, not chunky at all.
Try freezing a plastic cup a little more than 1/2 full. Then gently apply pressure downward with the handle. Then increase or decrease the pressure to obtain the fluffy snow like ice.
Did you use just ice cubes? That might give you chunks?
I’ve had mine a couple of years now with no problems.
Before I had a plastic one and it was terrible.
