Woefully underated musician in my opinion and all but forgotten about in recent Britpop retrospectives, which is a somewhat unforgivable really.
Great song. I interpret the lyrics as him talking about hipsters (modern day hippies) running around this planet like they don't have money and all they have to do is make a quick phone call to dad who can stop it all, I know plenty of these people, hahaha.
I do not wish to troll, it's an amazing anthem and it ramps up well enough but I just wish there was that kind of BAM in your face moment like Ben Folds did with Shatner's version.
