I just stumbled on your channel and subbed. - Great video! I'll check out some of your other videos too. I was able to get a grey founders edition of this console when the pre-orders went live. I can't wait!! I LOVE the ps1 and still use my ps classic regularly. First game I will fire up on this console... wow, there's so many to choose from! I have no idea lol. I guess it'll depend on what I'm in the mood for at the time.
Thank you very much and I'm glad to have you a part of the FUSION family!! Just fire up the first games you see in your collection don't even think. Whatever your eyes land on!!
I have an original psone with the clear blue controller and matching mem card. I can’t wait to plug those into the matching superstation one. I’ve loved my analogue pocket and haven’t pulled the trigger on a dock. Once I saw this thing I immediately fell in love and went all out for it. He is passionate about it and I think it will be a great way for budget retro gamers to get their foot in the door. I only hope they continue producing it as well as other future consoles. I’d hate to see it go the unethical direction of analogue.
I hope you can just play cds in it with the old ps1 music player backgrounds. I can’t wait to turn it on 1440p with my surround sound and hear The “bwaaaaahhh, brawwwwww” followed by chimes. It’s gonna be soo sick! Also mister support?! The “ONE” to rule them all. That’s the slogan taki should be using.
That was a good game but you don't need them to bring it out. You play your own if you have the game on this console. That's the awesome part about this!! Thank you for the comment
@johnnythomas1347 no problem, from what I've understand with the information thats out so far it will have storage to put games on and if you get the disc drive for it. You can play your original ps1 games on it as well. They have cores as well like N64 and SEGA Saturn that you can play games on with this.
@johnnythomas1347 also check out my new video that I just released today. I speak on it more th-cam.com/video/CteseWlNrt0/w-d-xo.htmlsi=yhxwn1bbcekuLC7i
Did you pre-order one yet? They went on sale on Saturday the 27th, 2025. I got mine ordered. I don't know when they will be shipping. You mentioned the Analogue N64... just wanted to mention that the SuperStation one (it's final name) is based on the MiSTer FPGA Project software... so while the system offers PS1 native controllers and memory cards... it runs all of the MiSTer cores that are available which includes the fabulous N64 core, Sega Saturn core, and all of the other stuff... dozens of console and handheld cores, dozens of retro computers, and well more than 1,000 arcade cores. It is the MiSTer in a commercialized package with a ton of addons packed in at an amazing price. I'm really enjoying the work-in-progress Atari Jaguar core. I could totally give you the long list but then you'd not have the fun of looking up the MiSTer FPGA Project for yourself.
Oh, one clarification on the add-on cd dock. They are taking a $5 deposit with a target final price of $40 for the dock. It will have a cd/dvd reader in it, 4 additional USB ports (turns out the SSo only has 3 USB ports rather than 4) and an NVMe slot (add your own NVMe). They have a mock up of what it looks like on their site now... and basically... it connects to a dock connector on the bottom of the SSo and is about the same shape and size as the SSo. Note that it does not allow for direct play of CD games but will allow the backing up of your cdroms to files on your storage (microSD or NVMe if added) which can then be played anytime. Put the original disc away to save it from wear and tear. A lot of people don't have CD drives in their home computers anymore. I hope that the dock is available when they start shipping the main unit so they can ship together... as shipping from Hong Kong is a quite a bit higher than we are used to with domestic shipping... and it would be painful to have to pay for two separate shippings. I put down $5 for it and am really excited to get the SSo. Late last year, I purchased two of Retro Remake's previous new products... the MiSTer Pi Turbo Pack and the MiSTer Pi Mega Pack and I am very satisfied with them both. I look forward their future product releases.
@lsdowdle thank you for this amazing comment and information. You have really enlighten me on more info. This video I did about 2 weeks ago when I first found out about it. I spoke about this console again in my newest video I released yesterday you can watch it here: th-cam.com/video/CteseWlNrt0/w-d-xo.htmlsi=UDuusKWNaPoTKdk-
cool video bro, its really nice to see someone making their own content in the way they want to, without all the corporate sponsored bias bullshit, I hope you are able to buy one of these bad boys when they get released, FFVII and MGS are two phenominal ps1 games, how do you feel about the original Resident Evil? 3 games that blew me away the first time around 30 years ago! definitely in my top 10 PS1 games! FFVIII, MGS2, the Gran Turismo series and Abe's oddysee are up there too!! good luck in the future dude, hopefullly as your channel grows, so will your collection, i can see a few empty shelves in the background lol!! take it easy bro!!
I really appreciate the comment it means alot. I love the original resident evil!!! That was one of the first games I played on the ps1 but it gotten better when they remade it for the gamecube. Metal gear, ff7, tales off Destiny 1 & 2, tekken 3, and Resident Evil 3 are my top games that generation. I will continue to bring content just like this as long as I have this channel. And I have alot more great things coming.
I definitely see your point and it's pretty valid. After this is fully out there analogue will have some solid competition. Especially if they keep releasing new products
@DigitalandRetroFusion The DE10 nano clone board theyre using is half the price of the Mister one and its just as good if not better. Ive been using it for a little while now and can say theres no going back to original hardware. And competition is good. Great time to be a retro gamer.
With the recent information that i have as of right now. It's playing digital/analogue. Also the cd drive has been Revealed with a new console transparent color that is pretty cool looking.
@cencil6497 here is an updated pics of the console. New FPGA-powered retro console re-creates the PlayStation, CD-ROM drive optional - Ars Technica search.app/mWPeEohou3c3tKWJ7
From how I understand it. As long as there's a core for it then yes. There's a claim that you can play Saturn and 64 if you load the core for it. Thank you for the comment

Yes the SuperStation 1 has set the tone and they are in a good position. Thank you for your comment
@lanedj801 if you get the disc drive you can play whatever
First game I'd play on this is probably MGS. I love that game.
Yes Metal Gear is phenomenal, that will be one of the first games I played on this. Thank you for the comment!!
I want them to bring out the fighting force from the PS1 console.
That was a good game but you don't need them to bring it out. You play your own if you have the game on this console. That's the awesome part about this!! Thank you for the comment
@DigitalandRetroFusion Correct me my friend so it going to be in the console already.

Yeah Analogue is finished after this. The Mister projects are going to strangle it over time.
I definitely see your point and it's pretty valid. After this is fully out there analogue will have some solid competition. Especially if they keep releasing new products

Will it play games in 4K?

Does it play ps1 games from different regions
Yes with FPGA, because it is a hardware component that can be programmed to function in any geographical region
Can it play sega games
From how I understand it. As long as there's a core for it then yes. There's a claim that you can play Saturn and 64 if you load the core for it. Thank you for the comment
just buy a used ps3...
I get it but even with retro gaming stores it prices on some of those retro consoles are very high.
