I was about to purchase the basket and I didn't even realize they were clear (not that it matters). It's great how much more you can see in a video vs a picture. :-)
A fridge will probably be my next major upgrade. However, I don’t have solar-and I don’t really want to get it either. So I’m leaning toward keeping the cooler for a little while longer. I don’t keep ice in it all of the time.
I have the yeti haul , hopper 30 and roadie 24. The roadie is made just for one maybe 2 days ice retention. Hence the name. I get 4 day’s ice out of it. If I “precool” it. The tundra I maybe get 3 days with same Treatment. Same with hopper. The roadie has the best ice retention out of all the others that cost double. Just FYI. I had same color and baskets. They had %40 off all yeti a few weeks ago and I bought all the things. If you keep it out of sun. And get it super cold. I just had ice for 4 days in it at 90 degree weather in boondocks. FYI.
Good to know! What I’m wondering now is if it was worth it to spend $200 for the Yeti name. I may have gotten the same results from a cheaper, no-name cooler.
I like the cooler. But without pre-chilling, I’m.not sure if it is better than a less expensive one. It keeps ice OK. It does its job. I like the style and footprint. It is tall and fits well in my small van. I like the charcoal color. So I’m not upset that I got it. Having said that, I probably could’ve gotten a less expensive one that would’ve kept ice just as well.
I actually did look at that! Seems like a great concept. But the cushion I saw at a store was hard! It didn’t seem comfortable at all. Plus, it attaches to the cooler with permanent adhesive. I just throw a pillow on top if I’m sitting on it for a long period of time. 🙂
ESP & Me Never seen the cushion in person myself, glad to get your take on it! That’s unfortunate it isn’t detachable, I think you’re idea is more cost effective and practical😄
It was a bit pricey. But I do like the form factor and the handles that fold out of the way. It fits well in my small van. Thanks for watching and commenting 😀

Yes, they look like small versions of the vegetable bins in a refrigerator. 🙂
I have the 105 tundra in white, the yeti haul in coral, and the roadie 24 in king crab! Love yeti!
King Crab is a great color 😀
Great video, ESP! I splurged and got a 20 volt fridge/freezer. I have medicine that I have to keep refrigerated. But those Yeti coolers are nice.

I have a yeti tundra65 and can get 10days of ice. My rtic20 hardcooler however gets four days
I wish my Roadie could do that!
6.8K views!!!.. Ok ESP, semi Viral Video.. Keep Pushing Forward ;)
🌴 Thanks, for the encouragement 🙂
That’s a nice cooler… I think the next cooler I get I will have to look at one of those… Thanks for the review

You should look into the seat cushion yeti makes for the new roadie 24 if you’re going to be using it for a seat often
