I am shocked everyone thought Russia was the world's second strongest military. They have no operational experience to speak of and don't have any truly oppressive system they can bring to bear in a conventional conflict. Anyone who looked beyond the surface level could say how this would go with Ukraine being funded by the West.

it was mentioned that North Korean sent along with it regular troops that it also sent one of their elite unit. I have always wondered what make a unit "Elite"? In the west it means highly trained soldiers. The Special Operations units in NATO meet that requirement in spades. When the these Special Operation units also have some combat experience (which US special ops can claim) then that word "Elite means something. I have my doubts that the so called elite units in the North Korean military come close to what we in the west would call Elite.
