So I installed this on my 2020, and while everything runs good, when I start the car, I see a lightning bolt that goes away after starting but it still shows up. I tried to do throttle reset with on and off with the pedal, now a red light appears when I start along with lightning bolt. They both disappear but it bothers me. Help
Judging by everyone else’s comments, you’ll get more air, but may not a bit at lower rpm’s. Look into a pcm swap kit with Diablo, or any brand of you don’t want Diablo, but I haven’t found any other pcm swap kits, and then tune it
I've got one on my 2011 R/T with a mopar intake and a corsa extreme cat back. The car does bog a bit at low rpm, think it's creating too much airflow even with the mods. I have no tune on the car as well.
@@ullysesramirez9577 it runs fine and drives good, pulls good. If you're going to tune it I'd say go for it. They say it adds a little power but I haven't noticed much of a difference from stock on my car

So. If I do a cold air air filter set up and modify the exhaust? This 88 intake is a good upgrade? Or will it bog it down. I live in Cali. So I don’t want to put headers on it.
I have a 2015 5.7 Hemi it has magnaflow exhaust and Airaid cold air intake. I’m considering the 85 mm throttle body. Will this cause any issues with the car, bogging or stalling, or should I just keep it as is?

When driving normally a new throttle body will definitely give you slightly better gas mileage due to it being easier for your engine to draw in air. However, I wouldn't expect more than a 1 or 2 mpg increase. -Zach
2017 and newer V8 mopars come with a pretty solid exhaust system and better intake than that older car you used....it should be a better bolt-on mod for newer cars.
I tried a 90 mm on my 6.4L Challenger and wasn't able to get the throttle pedal working. Re-installed the factory 80 mm - still dead in the water. Had to take the car to the Chrysler dealer to get the gas pedal working again.... 90 mm is too big... Now looking to use a 85 mm.
I'm going to install the Injen Evolution cold air intake when I install an 85MM throttle body. Will the connector hose from the intake to the throttle body fit the 85MM throttle body? Thx Dave
FASTMAN uses a brand new TB directly from Chrysler. No way of telling by just looking when it's all bolted up. Factory TB that he ports. True Port all the way through.

Yes the throttle body is bigger but manifold inlet is still the same and you will need more fuel if more air is put in engine so you will need to tune or it will be too lean might even throw a code. For the money you won't see big Hp jump. Sorry.
What size was the original throttle body i have a v6 2013 im pretty sure mines is a bit smaller so I'm trying to put a 85mm throttle on myself will I need an adapter
