Just when I needed it! Thank you, I was about to stabilise a V-neck on my top that is just a little too big. Also, I adore the yarn of your Gwanwyn sweater, all around wonderful project!
Hello Ellie I was wondering if you could give me a tip please I have got the opposite problem I have knitted a Xmas sweater for my 5 year old granddaughter I have finished it all stitched it up and now found out that it's very tight to get over her head I had quite a struggle which I'm sure you can guess didn't go down to good with my granddaughter lol once it's over her head the fit of the neck is perfect but I wondered if you could give me any idea what I could do to just make it a little bigger to go over her head .thank you in advance xx

Good idea! What you are doing is actually called a slip stitch in crochet.
I thought that is what I called it. Must have been a slip of the tongue x
