Makes you realise how good a driver Ari was, with no electronic aids & only rear wheel drive. Helluva hard job reading the pace notes too!
Not only that but Ari said himself he was never really able to push the Opel as hard due to its tendency to understeer and his particular style/technique favored oversteer. Absolutely still one of my favorite in car rally videos. Ari and Terry are legends.
This driving is so exciting, old rally is just mesmerizing to watch.

I think it's smoething about the weather, just as a comment. Look at 5:33, again he points to the sky and the co-driver makes a commentary about the rain.
Anybody know what "maybe" stand's for
In rally racing pacenotes, "maybe", denoted in the pacenotes with a ?, denotes something that lacks confidence and thus is left to the driver to decide how to deal with. This is commonly used to refer to potential weather issues, such as a slippery surface, or decisions that depend on the type and condition of the vehicle.
