We do want a designer iris perfume video! I personally love the kind of iris that Prada Infusion d'Iris has (or had - I had the pre-reformulation version). It was just so heavenly, rooty and powdery, so cooling and fresh, but at the same time mysterious. It managed to be a perfect office/business meeting scent without being boring or repetitive. It had one flaw though - it didn't last more than an hour on my skin. I would love to find something similar that has a bit more sillage and lasting power.

The more I watch your videos the more I find your taste and sense to be similar to what I like. Super helpful, its so nice to relate to people with similar taste. Makes finding new perfume so much easier.
Could you make a video of lipstick scents? For some reason, I'm sick on that idea. I never smelled lipstick on and that might be the one but it looks like they aren't making it anymore... this video is great. I love iris.
I think you are great and doing the world a great favour exploring indie brands! indie is the new niche and has forever been like it but until you put your nose on some, you have no idea what gems stay hidden under the radar. Cheers and thanks!

Would you wear it yourself now? I love powdery frags, and am looking for something dark, potent, sophisticated, powdery yet not pop culture. I like smoke and suede. Do you think this one will work for me?
*Great recommendations for iris perfumes, Yana! Iris Sublime, L'Attesa, Clubs de Iris, Vanille d'Iris could hit my powdery spot.* Another powder bangers I recommend to try: Frassaï Blondine (caramel powder), Lorenzo Villoresi Teint de Neige EdT (The best powdery vanille scent I've ever smelled so far! Just spray tame 1-2 sprays max. for 12+ hrs.!), Swiss Arabian Casablanca (Grapes+Apple lay on boozy velour leather with caramelic powder, thank me later for this gem!). *OMG, now I'll sleep with 1 spray Teint de Neige as my SOTN! Love that sensual powder soo much!* ☕🤤👌

Chanel No 5 contains both the Orris Root & the Iris flower & leaves (possibly the stem too.) I know there’s a particular fragrance that utilises the stems, leaves, roots & flowers of the Iris & Violets which I believe is Insolence by Guerlain if I’m not mistaken. I’m really loving Iris fragrances right now

Personally not a big fan of iris, at least as a dominant note but Dior homme Parfum & delirious iris by sp parfums are incredible to me 👌 now to watch the video and see what may be for me 🙏

Athalia from Parfums de Marly is one of the best iris fragrances that I've ever come across. It love at it first sniff and I got a full bottle.
My brother has Commodity Orris..smells great on him but smells like b.o. on me. I love to just smell it from the bottle. I'll have to try some of your recommends, maybe I'll find an iris that works for me.

L'attesa is probably my favourite right now, but my heart has always belonged to the Dior Homme line. Incidentally, I recently had a smell of my irises outside and realized how indifferent I am to their natural aroma. Really more of a "grandma" vibe than tuberose IMO. It makes me wonder why I'm so drawn to the note in fragrances.
it depends on the fragrance and the ingredients and how perfumer worked with them...Iris can be "old" but also beautiful and modern. The closest to real iris flower is actually drydown of PARADOX when violet and greens calmed down

Which do you think lasts the most? Iris dragees does not last. Does iris torrefie last with iris or just coffee at dry down? I am in search of an iris, orris that lasts. Nuees bleues didn’t last on me either.
