I personally get a lot of patchouli and liquorice on my skin from MGI, that makes it kinda deep, more earthy, medicinal and rounded. Almost a Black Orchid vibe, though they don't really smell similar. The vanilla here is also soo much more complex than the original. Enjoy this flanker a lot.
I tried both version. There are pretty look alike for me : the intense is just more a little bit vanilla and a very little long lasting than the original one so i don't think it is Really worth it to own the original and the intense: i think it is better to choose whether you prefer vanilla or aromatic because the difference between these two versions is subtile
I have a full size of the original and purchased samples of the Intense. How they differ to me is the intense is a more vanilla/tonka bean heavy and the original is more lavender and powdery. I do love both. With my experience the intense has better sillage, but both lasting power is about the same. I am a die hard for the original, I really don’t think any flanker will change my opinion. 🙂

I love both of these fragrances. I use them as my signature scent and I spray the original EDP on my bedsheets every night. It smells so warm and cozy and perfect to lull yourself to sleep. My husband likes it too! 😉

What is your opinion of this range? And the dew flanker as well as the bon bon couture flanker? 💖💖

I find the bottle is super pretty and so is bon bin although it's too sweet and messy for me. I wish Viktor and Rolf continued making perfumes. At least they have really cool presentation, don't they?

Mon Guerlain OG also didn't appeal to me upon first sniff. I've become quite fond of the Florale after getting a sample, so I'm keen to be reacquainted with the OG. Love the idea of wearing MG in the day and the Intense version at night. Thanks for the review and comparative study. 💖

I love love both but leaning more to the intense. More creamy and warming luxury on the skin. I like you didn't love it at first. By the end of the week of wearing it wow ,wow wow what very unique fragrance .❤
I've been testing these 2 on each wrist for the past 2 days and I love them both! Everyone I ask prefers the EDP to the intense but I think they're different enough to warrant having both. I would actually wear these together, maybe not right on top of each other but close. I find the EDP Intense not as long lasting so wearing together could help that possibly.
A lovely video Yana. I can imagine it will be very useful for those looking to purchase either one. I personally really adore the original edp, but would recommend the EDP Intense for men to wear and Florale for those who don't really like gourmands. Jaa, it's such a beautyfull designer fragrance and since the EdP came out (i guess it was 2017), it is one of my most worn designer ones ever (since im over having just 2, 3 signature fragrances;), just so gorgeous and feminin, seductive, expensive smelling and never to much, just an amazing all rounder:) And it's also one of my most complimented fragrances ever, Delina (ok i get it, it's to playfully to be seductive;), no Absolut Aphrodisiac, Alien EdP, la nuit Tresor EdP, etc; they all cant compete with mon Guerlain EdP when it comes to compliments, but my niche fragrances and even not my most sexy ones, are mostly way less compliment getters than my designer ones, just if the person is experienced with fragrances they enjoy them more, anyways... Its just definitely my most complimented fragrance by man since i wear it, but i have to say that i always layer it with the BL (wich is actually smelling like the EdP:) and i also always have my decand into my atomizer when i wear it outside... And it's a very unique designer fragrance, dont know any fragrance the is comparable with mon Guerlain EdP plus, such an amazing bedtime fragrance, when you're sleeping alone its calming bcs of the prominent lavender and vanilla, and if the boyfriend is next to me, its cuddling time;) Blablabla, ich quatsch dich wieder mal voll, sorry xD

softer flowerbomb? hm..interesting. I used to wear it in high school but I don't find they are similar. Flowerbomb is very floral and sweet and Mon Guerlan..well it is also sweet and floral but in powdery, vanilla way. Do you like it?

Hallo Tommelise:) Guerlain, i adore this fragrance house that much, especially since i visited their magical, charming, classy and so exciting store in Paris, it's an experience the a fragraholic never could forget, just magical!!:)) After that i wanted to know more about their history and i dont care about their drama in the past, that's not what im interested in when i adore a brand that much... The relationship between Mr. Wasser and Mr. Guerlain senior, is so heartwarming, Mr. Wasser is such an charismatic, passionate and classy gentleman, an icon at least for me!:) Mon Guerlain EdP, is also my favourite from all the other flankers of it (EdP/EdT/intense EdP, florale EdP and EdT, en Rose EdP and i think also an EdT, so many of them... ;), and i always will rebuy the EdP, it's one of my most worn if not my most worn, bedtime fragrance, i find it very sensuell, the calming lavender for the sleep is amazing and the freshness of it, makes it for me an great bedtime fragrance and also for intimate situations...;) The intense version of mon Guerlain EdP, i also own and really like, but i wouldn't repurchase this one, for example Spiriteuse Doubke Vanille, Tonka Imperial, i adore A LOT from this house when it comes to vanilla/or also tonkabean, i have to many amazing fragrances and there are very, very less designer fragrances (prive lines & co not included;) i always will repurchase... Guerlain's mon Guerlain EdP, NR Pure Musc for her, my youth love Mugler Alien EdP, Dior Pure Poison (what idont expected...
