The True Grit are definitely darker. I prefer the Old Guard: you can always use the tone pot if you want to cut down highs. Very nice tone & playing ! Cheers

Thanks very much! The differences are relatively small, especially when closing your eyes. The more I experiment with gear, the more I realise it’s more about how we react as players to different equipment. It can often guide us to play differently or inspire us to find new ideas.
