- It's been five years since a fire nearly destroyed France's iconic Notre Dame cathedral, but rebuilding work on the historic landmark is almost completed, thanks in part to the efforts of an American craftsman.

There is a warmth about Hank that is very appealing.
The best CBS Mornings pieces are always too short. I have so many questions. 3 minutes is inadequate for something this interesting and complex. Good luck to Hank.
Can not believe that they did it!!!
God is Great ... God bless those people who rebuilt the church ...
Tres bien!
He makes his own Medals 🏅. #mold
Thank God for our awesomw blue collar workers!
How much of the carpentry required is being done by hand with period tools and techniques, and how much is being done with modern power tools? It seems like it would take many years to do all the carpentry by hand.
Every single piece was cut by hand!
@@jeanforichon - That's amazing.
There are 1000 craftsmen and white collar people in what is much more than a French Effort, probably Worldly, united to rebuilding Notre Dame using the identical techniques that were used when She was built. I would have thought more but it is such an amazing feat. Truly a Cathedral Loved By All.
Even someone skilled like Hank wants to leave the country.
Well, in France he will have plenty of opportunity to exercise his skills, the food is great and there is universal healthcare.
Not to mention, there would be another opportunity for him to do his thing in Copenhagen, since their historic Stock Exchange building burned down.
I mean live in country living in fear due to the current gun violence, or go to another one with great healthcare?
as many interviews this guy has given I'm not sure how he's had time to complete any work.
Hank - if you marry me I can give you E.U. citizenship!
