I was in the same position. Skips, lost, broken. I like how Tektons are no skip and you can select impact, 6 or 12 point chrome. And they stand behind their stuff.
Thinking about getting this set right now. I've had the craftsman plastic box set thats right around this price and i hated carrying it or moving it since it was all plastic and would fall apart. Only thing i see i might not like on the tekton is those plastic clasps to hold the box shut but i havent seen any complaints and I'd just buy the twist lock rails they sell.
I had the Neiko set and sold it so I could by the Tekton set. Neiko has no lifetime warranty or the ability to replace lost parts. The Neiko set is also massive compared to the Tekton, you nade a Wise choice. Tekton has one of the best warranties in the industry. Not only can you replace lost parts with tekton but you can also easily warranty broken parts without a hassle. I now own multiple tekton tools and I'm a customer for life.
I bought that set back in 2020 when it was $125. You get every 3/8 socket you'll ever need. Cardboard isn't needed, people just need to open it correctly. Sockets now sit in hansen trays.

I bought this set in 2020 for $120 I love this set been beating on it since then haven’t broke a socket and the ratchet has been holding up well also.

You made a great choice with the Teton set... warranty is simple and easy!!!!
bought mine for 140, it's a huge box, but maybe if I had to do it again, I might of liked seperate set of mm and SAE.
