I wish there was a mod for outfit recognition. Guards will acknowledge you are wearing azura's star or carrying the mace of molag bal. So why not recognizing you are wearing stormcloak, imperial, thief, wolf, nightingale, mage robes... etc? Beyond this, an affinity calculator as well. You’re dragon born, thane of everywhere, savior of the world, and no one gives a crap…
Don't they already do that? I recall several times wearing different armor sets and the guards noticed them Like asking if my dwemer armor was "of dwarven make?" or something like that And another mentioning my imperial armor i wore once
I meant more genuine reaction, and there is a mod out there called 'disguise' something. Now, if you wear imperial, storm cloaks will attack. If you wear necromancer, everyone will attach, wear forsworn and markarth guards attack - not just comments. Likewise, wear forsworn and you can walk into a forsworn camp. As a Nord, I wore thalmor robes and walked freely into Northwatch Prison.
I started a game with "Altnerative Start" where I'm basically Indiana Jones or Lara Croft. I'm a Breton Scholar/Tombraider from Highrock, just arrived in Skrim with a collection of documents and whispered rumors pointing to the locations of mysterious dragon word walls scattered around skyrim and I want to study as many as I can. So I will spend the first part of the game gathering all of the useful Dragon words before I encounter the actual dragons. At some point might go investigate the "disturbance at Helgen" and follow the Main plot, discovering that I'm, in fact the Dragonborn of legend and be able to unlock the dragon words that I've learned along the way
How would a Breton from Highrock be the Dragonborn? I’m just wondering from a lore point of view, your backstory is really interesting and creative, but I’m a sucker for lore.
@@lorrainekissane5641 do you have some lore insight that might suggest that The Last Dragonborn necessarily has to be a certain race, gender, or background? Even the vanilla game leaves it pretty open to the player. Yes, as I recall the Septim line of Emperors were all were Dragonborn, but there isn't anything to suggest that Akatosh's gift of dragon blood had to be inherited. (on this note, Tiber Septim's race is steeped in controversy and he might well have originally been a Breton himself according to some)
@@kabedondon I'm pretty sure you're supposed to be a nord, lore wise, but it doesn't matter that much, since if you were doing only the lore, you'd only do the main questline and nothing else, other than the dlc main questlines.
I love the 5th and 1st mod. I've got an Argonian...liar, basically. To the public, she's a nice little urban Alteration Noncombatant mage, nice to everyone, doesn't speak their language well, quiet nice nobody. Who also runs Thieves Guild, steals everybody's cheese and garlic, runs the Dark Brotherhood and 1shots dragons with Merunes Dagon's razor. --- "Did you hear about the Emperor? Dark time indeed" says the Guard. "Yes is terrifying-able! Solitude is no-safe!!" says the nice Argonian Alteration Mage that killed the emperor. "The Thieves Guild is back in Solitude!" says the guard. "Yes they estole my cheese!" says the Argonian with 44 cheese wheels in her inventory.
I was just thinking of creating an Argonia alchemist that, to normal, would look like a potion seller, but he secretly kills people with poison, while also running the dark brotherhood and the thieves guild
@@demented9131 You know successful or not I bet Creation Club has upped the communication between the modders and the devs which can only be a good thing.
That Ordinator mod is one of the coolest I’ve ever seen. Apocalypse Magic has some insane stuff to go along, that ghost-walk illusion spell, lets you do a 10 second invisible spirit walk, then get transported back to your body, like who comes up with that? Such an amazingly creative spell
Cannot recommend the live another life mod enough. Even if you don't want to RP, just to skip the naseating intro to the game makes it one of the top mods available.
playing a highborn breton recently arrived from high rock as a mercenary in midtier-noble armor (fill in mod that has this here) because his royal line was crushed by another kingdom, was one of the best playthroughs i ever had.
I recently began playing as a back khajiit don juan with misschievous yellow narrow eyes. i'm not really sure what i wanna do with him though. Also there are some good PCEA 2 animations that went very well with the fencer. Even though most of them are meant to be use by females. Still if you play a fencer character, that isn't really such a problem imo. Still think there should be more "less brutish male" animations out there instead of the hulky ones.
For those that did not yet conclude from the comment section, 3/5 of these mods (imperious, ordinator and aurora) are from the same content creator: EnaiSaion. This creator also did apocalyps magic, a mod for more shouts, better vampire perks, a oblivion-esque arena under riften, a collection of many fun and engaging new enchantments and two combat overhauls for when you find the normal skyrim combat too clunky (or forgiving). Finally he made all his mods compatible and has many little combo's hidden between them. They are meant to be played together. Seriously, look this guy up if you haven't yet.
First RPG mod on the list is the rocket propelled grenade mod This mod will literally put an RPG into skyrim allowing you to role play as a time traveler and a soldier Most importantly you will be able to watch your enemies flee as you rain down fiery explosive death upon them
nah, i use ghosu's weapon mod for that. It's more like blunderbuss flintlock weaponry but it atleast fits the time a bit more. Also it has grenade throwers.
I know that most people probably don't care about this very much but to me aesthetic is a very important part of role-playing. The character creation in Oblivion might have allow you do done some ridiculous things but at least it allowed you to create an unique and distinctive character. That's why I found character's creation in Skyrim rather lacking. I felt like it was streamlined to a point when all of the characters you could make looked kind of the same. That's why I would add to your list two more mods: RaceMenu and ApachiiSkyHair.
The main problem with Skyrim is that even if you add a lot of depth, the quests are really shallow and almost never give you any freedom to blaze your own path. It's almost like World of Warcraft. But while it gets a pass due to it being an MMO, Skyrim has no such excuse when all of it's predecessors did much better. Even Oblivion had more of a roleplay feeling to it. With Oblivion it was mostly that the quests were hard to find, so when you did find one it felt organic. Also it meant that your character would mostly only find the quests that he/she finds while you roleplay them. As in, a murderous character would likely find the dark brotherhood, while a noble paladin never would. Compare this to Skyrim, where every quest seems like an MMO-npc with an exclamation mark on their head gave it to you. Even the quest log looks like that. In order to make Skyrim an RPG, you'd need to revamp it completely.
no i agree i loved being able to make a super dark dark elf or even some neon colored person. i mean the characters were ugly in oblivion but i myself prefer oblivion to skyrim. all the questlines were more enjoyable for the guilds imo
In Oblivion the character I played the most was a dark elf woman with vibrant-bright-fiery-reddish-orange hair. I named her Iskierka (which means "little spark" in Polish) and made her a mage specializing in fire-related spells. Not the most original idea ever, but I was a child when I came up her. I was so disappointed when years later Skyrim came and I was unable to recreate Iskierka because all hair colors available to Night Elves were washed up and un appealing. To be honest, I know that characters in Oblivion looked like potatoes in wigs but sometimes characters in Skyrim are not that much better. Most of them look extremely old and tired, with washed-up colors.
My heroic paladin mercy killed a broken man in the Arena and still got contacted by the Dark Brotherhood. It broke my roleplay a bit because my character didn't consider that a murder at all.
Everyone likes to ignore Oblivion and Morrowind's flaws to trash Skyrim. I have been playing all three and they all have good points and bad points. Even so, I wonder sometimes if I will be a hater regarding TES VI lol
I've been wanting to play again, but didn't want to just do the same things I always did over and over. So I found this, and I'm getting all of them! This should give me even more time wasting potential so I don't have to deal with real life. Thanks!
I created a battlemage, who after escaping goes on a journey in search of the hidden secrets of Skyrim lore. After arriving in Winterfell I met some of the people in the mages school and upon finishing their quests I am now raiding tombs and exploring the deepest depths. But my character is getting old and with that he bought a nice home in hopes of settling down after all the many years of exploration and dragon fighting. With a wife and alchemy and enchanting to keep me busy my character can spend the rest of his days listening to the whispers of those around him about younger adventurers looking to discover the secrets of a sleepy Skyrim.
Yes, that's probably why you're having problems. You can find the compatibility patch in the Files section of the Nexus page for Apocalypse. Just make sure that it loads after both Apocalypse and Ordinator in your load order.
Jack Maney Tried the Ordinator and Apocalypse along with the compatibility patch (loaded last) and still can't start the game. Ordinator works fine, btw. Any advice? I have the legendary patch, btw.
The main problem with roleplaying in Skyrim (from my six years of experience playing and modding that game) it's not that you can't do it, but that there's no consequence for doing it. The vanilla game is so lackluster in the RPG departament that no matter the amount of mods you add, if you actually expect to make an impact to the world of Skyrim... you just can't. And if that's what you're looking for then no matter what you do, you're not gonna get that, because that's just not how the game is built. So your "roleplaying experience" is for you alone and it's determined by the "plot" you want to give to your character. For example, I started a playthrough as a vampire lord that isn't the dragonborn, and I'm going around with an entourage of four other vampire lords (followers I've turned into vampire lords) trying to change everyone in Skyrim into vampires, specially the important npcs. Because my character is a power hungry vampire lord wood elf, and that's what she would do. Now... am I making an impact into the world? Of course not. No one is treating me differently. Some guards and other npcs may say things like "Those eyes are scary" or "you're creepy as fuck woman!" and many npcs that I've turned into vampires are now going around biting other npcs whenever they get hungry (without calling the attention to the guards though) but other than that... nothing has changed, I know nothing ever will. Like... there's never going to be a branch of Dawnguard or Vigilant members who will ambush me (and I don't mean the usual patrol, I mean that they're not going to see me as the biggest threat ever and act in consequence), no one in any of the cities is ever going to see me as a threat unless they see me eating someone, the empire is never going to notice what I've been doing in Skyrim so they're never going to blacklist me and send someone to kill me and if I decide to join them in the Civil War NOW (now that I've turned almost every Jarl and rich and powerfull person in Skyrim into vampires) I still can, and if I decdied to start the main quest, I'll end up becoming "the hero of Skyrim" (even though I've basically cursed the majority of the population) no matter what And don't get me wrong, I'm having a blast playing that way. To me it's the only good way of playing Skyrim. But since it wasn't built to be played that way, just don't expect for the game to have lasting consequence.
You know. Not having an effect on the open world has been my only major complaint about Skyrim. Still a wonderful game but I want to effect the physical world, the social world, and political world, around me. There are no major last effects of your decisions in the game. I hope this changes in game 6... Another cool change would to be create more personality and speech in npc's. Granted that might not be easy to program. But if characters behavior and speech changed over time and based upon your character then that would make replay-ability endless.
I agree for the most part, but as a game developer myself, from a technical standpoint it's important to remember Skyrim is old. It uses an old engine, its everything is dated! To make something that could dynamically respond to the character's actions was, and still is for the most part, impossible. There were certainly things they could have added, but remember for the vast majority of mods you need SKSE. That's because the base game just isn't capable of handling a large number of complex scripts that need to work at once, it wasn't built that way. I think Bethesda did the best they could given the time they had to develop it, engine limitations, and the day and age it was created in. Absolutely, they could have made more interesting and immersive things, and let you change the world more, but certainly not easily. Might also have been a design choice on their part, because, realistically, no one person is going to drastically alter the world, even if they're the chosen one. Whatever you individually do, the world's going to keep on going. Kind of a comforting, or lonely, thing.
This is only one simple reason Skyrim (as a game standing on its own) sucks, however the problem with Skyrim (alongside Fallout 3 and Oblivion) is that its neither an RPG in any sense, nor is it a good game on its own with well designed mechanics, meaningful story, and/or basically anything you could use to strike as making a good game. These Bethesda games suffer from a simplification of the player, they believe the player is incapable of playing a game without a shiny thing to follow or do, they believe against "making your own fun," they in fact don't believe in exploration or discovery, and they most certainly have no regard for player expression. Skyrim's opener is a perfect example of what I mean, absolutely nothing in that is player driven and even choosing who you follow to leave changes nothing other then the clothing of the enemies and allies. It doesn't even effect how anyone reacts to you after you leave either, you're an escaped convict condemned to death (for the most retarded reasons I might add, and you can't even define it yourself) who may have chosen the side of the rebels and no one in the empire cares, or you might be a spy for the empire clearly walking around yet nobody ever does anything in the Stormcloak cities. That's just the interaction with the world. That's excluding the fact that Skyrim is a button mash fest with no gameplay whatsoever. (if Skyrim had a multiplayer mode and used the systems it has for it you would bet it become another EA Star Wars Battlefront) There isn't any depth to the narrative, the game design, the worldbuilding, there isn't a sliver of player interaction. The only thing Skyrim has going for it are the mods, which Bethesda has figure out means they don't need to develop the game anymore to further its profit, just take the Garry's Mod approach. (except keep the whole game locked behind walls on an engine older and more broken then GMod, a game that came out over 5 years before Skyrim, with a scripting language more convoluted, shittier, and broken then implementing any bit of Lua, which btw is a piece of cake [and is dramatically faster and fucking safer then anything Bethesda could remotely do, not to mention widely known, adopted, and easy to comprehend] compared to the mess that is papyrus, with a modding kit as useful as a sledgehammer to your keyboard every 2 minutes, not to mention the shitty documentation and clearly inadept developers) Also Night Stick how are you a developer using that as an excuse, both Daggerfall and Morrowind did that hundreads of times better, hell it was actually possible to do it in GMod despite the fact that game is over 10 years old on the engine it runs. (hell New Vegas had that functionality on the same fucking engine, not to mention both Fallout and Fallout 2 did it, CRPGs did this all the goddamn time, and some of them didn't even need to develop specific actions and instead just created systems that "generate" their own reactions to certain events, which btw could easily be developed in an A"RPG") Skyrim just simply fails to be developed by anyone competent, clearly it wasn't even designed by any actual game designers.
@@infamouspigeonincident2713 Probably the best follower mod ever. I usually don't like followers at all because they're annoying af but I absolutely can't play without Inigo anymore.
I personally prefer Skyrim Unbound over Live another Life. Even more options for roleplay, even the option to not be the Dragonborn at all, but still have dragons spawning, or leave it to fate and not immediately know if you are the Dragonborn or not.
Idk how I feel about Imperious. Skyrim’s basic races were a lot like 5e D&D races. Each race has benefits towards a certain play style, but you’re never going to be handicapped based on what race you choose. Imperious does handicap you if you want, say, an orc Mage.
Limitation is the father of creativity. Sure an Orc might have a harder time starting out as a mage, but that's nothing a few levels and appropriate gear won't fix.
Wow you seriously think creation club will have that? No they won't because this shows how terrible the Perk system was in vanilla skyrim. They only accept tiny mods that make skyrim amazing, not BETTER.
I know this is an older video, but you have still helped me out so much. Thank you for your time spent and I'm sure I'll be using most of these mods in my next playthrough!
Comrade Canary She's definitely a talented mod author. I dislike her quest mods aside from Ravengate, but most of her other mods are a must-have for me.
Triss Merigold I think permanently making the core game itself better deserves more praise. Quests are hard, but theyre not constrained with things like having to make every single idea you could come up with a viable option all the way to level 100.
For anyone confused about Aurora, it was taken down and superseded by Andromeda, by the same mod author. More recently, there's also Evenstar, a more minimalistic Vanilla-plus style standing stone overhaul, again by the same mod author.
Yeah, I feel like it's what Skyrim should have been originally. It doesn't even change tons of stuff, just fleshes out what's already there. It's so shallow without.
He's also not the most modest person I've ever conversed with, but I try to forget that lol. Fallout 4 and Skyrim are *almost* unplayable at this point without him. Guess that's a good reason to act like a faultless demigod :P
I did get some some mods so that I could be a sneaky khajiit in shadows but on the surface I appear as a normal khajiit with a nice khajiit wife who is secretly a assassin and 2 khajiit kids. The 2 kids use the normal kid voice in both of the mods.
truelly not kidding, every video i watch from u guys is a revelation to me... So many ways to enjoy and come to love the game wich i already loved like hell... THANKS for the awsome vids and keep it up!!!!
"Skyrim Unbound" beats out alternate start in every way especially when you use the MCM, from not being the Dovahkiin, to being allied with bandits, forsworn, the civil we factions or none, to choosing your own starter spells to even the gold you start with and the armor and weapons you have, sure you may not be an instant main faction member but we're putting the RP in RPG, right? You can also choose a super nature so you can start off as a werewolf and not have to choose and still progress through the companions and can become a vampire without being in a filthy cave or be part of Lord Harkon's court.
I’ve been searching for good mods and spent almost a month to compile them all. Yet this video is right away pointing out my favorite ones! Even adding with that Aurora mod I’ve missed, thank you!
The only other mod I will have is (don’t know the name) the mod which mods the bandits to have 72 different types so you have witch cults, mad people, werwolf hunters, two handed bulky people, thief’s, and a shit ton of stuff (I know a lot of what I listed is already in the game like silver hands and the “thief” character in Riften but that’s not the same thing and this mod adds a cool feel to bandits and stuff then)
I can vouch for Fudge's recommendations. I use all of these mods and they are top quality. Frankly, I recommend all of EnaiSialon's mods on the Nexus. Even with Imperious, Breton is still the strongest race.
DamienDarksideBlog Agreed, my personal favorite is Imperious. That mod makes Bretons even more broken - you get an additional passive from any standing stone and can effectively steal the racial power of Nords, Altmer, Dunmer, and imperials.
Installed all these mods right before I went to sleep just to keep myself excited all day until I get home tomorrow. Can't wait to play Skyrim and have fun again.
I prefer SPERG over ordinator. Where ordinator adds tens of perks that are super situational and boost damage or things by a small degree, SPERG has fewer perks, but they are more powerful.
And all with the exception of alternate start are by the same author. I highly recommend summermist enchantments, sacrosanct vampires, thunderchild, spectraverse, and ravengate. All by the same person as well
A note on Alternate Start mod: There are _a lot_ of other alternate start addons, some of which do make you a "character in a dark tale" like being enslaved to Falmer, Thalmor's prisoner to be tortured and quite possibly executed if you dont escape. Though do note that there are also "slave/enslaved" addons that will require... "unique" mods and frameworks to get the full effect.
*Starts dosing off..... “fingers of the mountain” instantly alert again*Oh don’t get me started the mages quest line was the most bs...you get the idea
This is just shows that Skyrim will never die. It's freaking 2018 now, and this kind of videos always makes me wants to play Skyrim more, even though I know every nook and cranny in Skyrim already, literally.
Vanilla perks may be boring, but atleast they are fuctional. Most of Ordinator perks are useless (like hit an enemy with the sword to reduce his attack by 10% for 5 sec, really?), some are overpowered and few are quite enjoyable like Dwemer Turret. More perks doesn't mean better.
cool beans I think it’s on a case by case which perks are good or not. The shout branch is great and really works with my diplomatic character who’s primarily doing one handed, speechcraft, light armor, and alteration. However, one handed could be better
If you're like me and have already put in many hours with Ordinator, Alternate Start, and Imperious, then I suggest trying out: SPERG (Skyrim Perk Enhancement & Re balanced Gameplay) Skyrim Unbound Epic Races of Skyrim These do very similar things as the first ones but are not as popular, I have enjoyed using these after playing so long with the first three.
abatmanfan12 Would you be able to state some of them if you wouldn't mind. For like starters or if you could tell me were I can look over these mods in more detail I would do that. Thanks
rd.nexusmods.com/skyrim this is the Skyrim Nexus, you can download all the mods listed in my comment and in the video here. Use the search system to look up everything. The mod I listed called SPERG has the feature to alter the amount of points you get per level. I suggest starting off with downloading and installing SKSE first before any other mods, you can look up how to install it on youtube, there are a bunch of guides.
Personally I don't use Ordinator. I've tried it but it's a bit overwhelming for me. It's a quality mod don't get me wrong it has a ridiculous amount of great features. The thing is it's a bit TOO much (for me at least). I love just about all of Enai's other mods like Apocalypse and Sancrosanct. EDIT: I have since started using Ordinator. I have come to the realization that I don't NEED to get most of the perks from an Ordinator tree to get a lot out of it.
Monday's insanity My issue with Ordinator isn't a lack of perk points it's the fact that there's over 400 perks to choose from. It's a tad hard to digest.
I find playing a character that focuses on a few things, works better for trying to learn what's good and what's not, than trying to play the 'do it all' character type. I tend to start over a lot, so I get to experience the builds pretty fast. An alteration mage might not sound exactly exciting, but eventually they get the ability to render all novice and apprentice spells free of charge. Suddenly you can run around with endless wards and flames for example. A destruction mage becomes possible, with damage actually scaling now. Go into fire, and one of the perks lets you burn enemy corpses, preventing necromancers from resurrecting them. On the other hand, lightning lets you lift an enemy into the air and render them both helpless and more vulnerable to magic.
There are so many more though. Some that I have revamp the civil war rewards making it feel like "yeah empire soldiers would use this" or the heavy weapons mod which adds all new weapon types. So if you're a spear guy get your spear. Imperious race height overhaul fixes that weird height problem
oops sorry i though transforming an rpg is more like a mmo-rpg so maybe the little piece that come just after skyrim together is this mod : surrounding weapons and rings AT nexus 88826
Awesome Video. I have been watching several of your videos, and you have caused me to get back into skyrim and have earned my subscription. Brilliantly done!
Even with these mods Skyrim isn't a true rpg. For that it needs choices and consequences. Different play styles would need to matter to the world. Your allocated skills should dictate which faction is easily joined. A warrior shouldn't be approved by a thieves guild member. He shouldn't give a rat ass about you. You should have a fame and infamy status. That would determine how npcs see you as. A warrior past lv10 shouldn't be called a milk drinkeer. Lv20 above should fast tracked your progress in the Companions. That is if it was an actual quest line. Failing Brynolf test should make it far harder to join him. A game that proclaims to be an rpg lack rpg assets. Bethesda should just make a action ip if they want to go that route. The Elder Scrolls and Fallout should be actual rpgs. Elder Scrolls needs to bring the rpg back in what's supposed to be a rpg series.
@@jalennorthcutt8604 Choices of yes, yes sarcastically, why (But yes), and No (but really just yes at a later date) doesn't feel RPG to me. There are things that are great about it, but the RPG elements aren't them.
That's a little too much don't you think? I have 114 on my Xbox One but if I somehow could get some loverslab mods (roughly 6 to 10) I would have the perfect game.
MR DR xAMAZINGx I had around as much too but it took skyrim feel away from it so I deleted like half which I didn't really like and kept some which are good and add more believable things to the game or improved things that are already in the game like how enchantments look on the weapon or how much money shops have since 750-1000 is nowhere enough. I deleted basically all the mods that add all sort of creatures like earth golems, manticores etc so it wouldn't be ridiculous wonderland full of unheard creatures and stuff. Also had faster level up mod but now I regret getting it and got rid of it. I have played 90 hours in this play through and I'm lvl 72 with 700 damage bow and sword... took character development away since I just now started doing quests. Other 90h I leveled up my character. But hey I really didn't feel like leveling up my character another 400h this time or even longer if I just did quests.
Justin, Requiem is an overhaul mod that's based around making the game into a proper RPG, where you must train yourself up before you go adventuring past Riverwood. Bleak Falls Barrow requires you to be lvl 20 at least in Requiem, and dragons are a massive flying "do not aggro" sign, rather than overgrown cliff racers in fewer numbers like they are in vanilla.
Git gud. Requiem unlevels the world, so if you're level 1 you can't fight trolls or even draugr. Also, other humanoids like bandits and guards have the same stats/level ratio as you do. In vanilla, you have 100 in all attributes at level 1, while bandits have like 30 health or some shit. Requiem makes you equal (assuming you're the same level and class). This makes the game considerably harder in the beginning and easy af towards the end-game when you're starting to become a god. The mod is not for everyone, but if you truly want that roleplaying feel, you won't find anything better.
these mod looks awesome but i haven't finished the vanilla game yet. I don't want to be spoiled by these mod and missed out on the original experience. Sometime later tho, would definitely check these out
I tried these mods for myself and my god are they fun and it really does feel like theirs more different playstyles now and I do highly recommend them to anyone who plays skyrim.
Frostfall's not worth it unless you want a survival game in Skyrim, and Notice Board isn't as good as Missives, mostly because the mod doesn't take holds into account. Missive will only give you quests for the hold your currently in from that notice board. Notice Board will give you a quest for Hjaalmarsh whilst you're in Riften.
Death Incarnate Oh yes. Not specifically those but mods 'like' them. I was expecting to see in this vid mods that add 'more things to do' and 'more immersion', but well I suppose this one's more of 'more diverse builds' showcase.
Yeah, I understand. Truth be told, I'm surprised at some of the mods that didn't appear myself. When I saw what they were doing, I thought "okay, so where's DIversity?" Full reintegration of the class system and various strengths and weaknesses based on your race, sex and body weight, and yet it doesn't appear.
4:52 just a headsup for anyone looking for this mod - unfortunately it seemed to have disappeared from the nexus, and it isn't available on the workshop (as far as i'm aware) either. the only way to get it is through someone who has the mod.

Matt M I think lore wise you’re supposed to be a nord, it fits better anyway. How would the Dragonborn be a cat from a land so far away from Skyrim?
I love the 5th and 1st mod. I've got an Argonian...liar, basically.
To the public, she's a nice little urban Alteration Noncombatant mage, nice to everyone, doesn't speak their language well, quiet nice nobody.
Who also runs Thieves Guild, steals everybody's cheese and garlic, runs the Dark Brotherhood and 1shots dragons with Merunes Dagon's razor.

"Did you hear about the Emperor? Dark time indeed" says the Guard.
"Yes is terrifying-able! Solitude is no-safe!!" says the nice Argonian Alteration Mage that killed the emperor.
"The Thieves Guild is back in Solitude!" says the guard.
"Yes they estole my cheese!" says the Argonian with 44 cheese wheels in her inventory.
vantarinitel This is great.
I was just thinking of creating an Argonia alchemist that, to normal, would look like a potion seller, but he secretly kills people with poison, while also running the dark brotherhood and the thieves guild

Yes agree. I started out as an Argonian slave shipwrecked off Dawnstar.
I'm partial to Random Alternate Start instead. Choosing feels less fun to me.
playing a highborn breton recently arrived from high rock as a mercenary in midtier-noble armor (fill in mod that has this here) because his royal line was crushed by another kingdom, was one of the best playthroughs i ever had.
God i wish i still had thos for pc that would never get old. I have so much fun getting into my characters

First RPG mod on the list is the rocket propelled grenade mod
This mod will literally put an RPG into skyrim allowing you to role play as a time traveler and a soldier
Most importantly you will be able to watch your enemies flee as you rain down fiery explosive death upon them
1234wowww you see two moons lol can’t time travel back
nah, i use ghosu's weapon mod for that. It's more like blunderbuss flintlock weaponry but it atleast fits the time a bit more. Also it has grenade throwers.

There is a
ive been so burnt out on skyrim even though its my hands down favorite game, and finding this video has actually made me want to play it again
Frostfall - probably my favorite add on for skyrim. pairs really well with wet&cold, and campfire

Guys he is joking don't take it seriously
Like... there's never going to be a branch of Dawnguard or Vigilant members who will ambush me (and I don't mean the usual patrol, I mean that they're not going to see me as the biggest threat ever and act in consequence), no one in any of the cities is ever going to see me as a threat unless they see me eating someone, the empire is never going to notice what I've been doing in Skyrim so they're never going to blacklist me and send someone to kill me and if I decide to join them in the Civil War NOW (now that I've turned almost every Jarl and rich and powerfull person in Skyrim into vampires) I still can, and if I decdied to start the main quest, I'll end up becoming "the hero of Skyrim" (even though I've basically cursed the majority of the population) no matter what
And don't get me wrong, I'm having a blast playing that way.
Thats the Bethesda Effect. same thing happened with Fallout 4
You fixated on an inconsequential detail, shithead.
(except keep the whole game locked behind walls on an engine older and more broken then GMod, a game that came out over 5 years before Skyrim, with a scripting language more convoluted, shittier, and broken then implementing any bit of Lua, which btw is a piece of cake [and is dramatically faster and fucking safer then anything Bethesda could remotely do, not to mention widely known, adopted, and easy to comprehend] compared to the mess that is papyrus, with a modding kit as useful as a sledgehammer to your keyboard every 2 minutes, not to mention the shitty documentation and clearly inadept developers)
Also Night Stick how are you a developer using that as an excuse, both Daggerfall and Morrowind did that hundreads of times better, hell it was actually possible to do it in GMod despite the fact that game is over 10 years old on the engine it runs.

I have slowly incorporated each of these into my game, with Apocalypse magic being the most recent addition. It makes the game even more enjoyable.

Ordinator is so fucking good
DamienDarksideBlog Agreed, my personal favorite is Imperious. That mod makes Bretons even more broken - you get an additional passive from any standing stone and can effectively steal the racial power of Nords, Altmer, Dunmer, and imperials.
Perks supposed to be "gimmicky". You have general attributes / skill levels for stat boosting.
When you were listing the spells, I was sad that there was no *Kitty Space Mission* spell.
All by the same person as well
Why the hell is EnaiSaion so bloody talented?
I prefer Vampiric Thirst for my Vampire experience.

A note on Alternate Start mod: There are _a lot_ of other alternate start addons, some of which do make you a "character in a dark tale" like being enslaved to Falmer, Thalmor's prisoner to be tortured and quite possibly executed if you dont escape.

I thought I was the only one in the world who didnt like ordinator.
It's great for magic and thief but not good for warrior.
cool beans I think it’s on a case by case which perks are good or not. The shout branch is great and really works with my diplomatic character who’s primarily doing one handed, speechcraft, light armor, and alteration. However, one handed could be better
You should try Perkus Maximus

After modding do you still get perk points to use on different perks or no? I am fairly new and not sure if I should mod.
Yes you do, there are mods to even alter the amount of points you get per level
abatmanfan12
Would you be able to state some of them if you wouldn't mind.
Thank you i do appreciate it, it clears up alot of questions I had but couldn't really find answers to it.
Gamin' Reasons combine with the mod that gives you an extra perk point every other level up and it balances out pretty decently
Monday's insanity My issue with Ordinator isn't a lack of perk points it's the fact that there's over 400 perks to choose from. It's a tad hard to digest.
Gamin' Reasons try perkus maximus then. Still a lot of mods but not as hard to digest imo
I personally hated PerMa. There are very unimmersive perks, weapons and spells.
Love the alternative opening mod
There are so many more though. Some that I have revamp the civil war rewards making it feel like "yeah empire soldiers would use this" or the heavy weapons mod which adds all new weapon types. So if you're a spear guy get your spear. Imperious race height overhaul fixes that weird height problem
That last magic one looks amazing...I’m on PS4...pray for me
Alternate Start, or "How I Started with Lakeview Manor"
oops sorry i though transforming an rpg is more like a mmo-rpg so maybe the little piece that come just after skyrim together is this mod : surrounding weapons and rings AT nexus 88826
Awesome Video. I have been watching several of your videos, and you have caused me to get back into skyrim and have earned my subscription. Brilliantly done!
Wow, thank you so much for your videos about Skyrim ! It really inspires me to play different builds and try new mods !
"You're Brotherhood material."
*stands awkwardly holding my amulets to the Aedric gods with a restoration spell in my hand* "...You sure about that?"
Don't forget this was made in 2011. Bethesda has proven they could do that in fallout 4
@@jalennorthcutt8604 Choices of yes, yes sarcastically, why (But yes), and No (but really just yes at a later date) doesn't feel RPG to me. There are things that are great about it, but the RPG elements aren't them.
Exactly.
If ima be honest a game with around 500 mods now mad the perfect game for me. Took a lot more than 5.
Sherwyn Sharma So basically you made a whole new game.
Requiem and Legacy of the Dragonborn are both mandatory for me
Can't play without Legacy, myself. Need to start a new Requiem playthrough, though.
What is requiem?
I really like the unlevel aspect of it,To bad almost any other mod is incompatible.
4:20 That’s a Dwarven mage. Also my favorite skill in the Ordinator lockpicking perk is hotwire due to it taking command of any Dwarven Automaton.
Alternate Start also has an expansion: New Beginnings. Many other options including a witch/warlock, left for dead by vampires, in jail, or a beggar.
Spellmaking. I want spellmaking.
Remember how broken spell making was in Oblivion? I once made like 5 spells to buff my acrobatics and jumped clean over the white gold tower.
How is that a bad thing
They tried to make it for eso but they couldn't make it work
Oh. God. This is why I love Tyranny so damn much. The Mages feel so Magey.
Raymond But it makes perfect sense for a powerful mage to be able to do that.
*Talking about the start of skyrim
Woah!! Spoilers!
these mod looks awesome but i haven't finished the vanilla game yet. I don't want to be spoiled by these mod and missed out on the original experience. Sometime later tho, would definitely check these out
I was a ninja, a knight, a thief, a witch, warlock, transvestite lizard bard, Skooma junky, all in Skyrim. Love it.
I tried these mods for myself and my god are they fun and it really does feel like theirs more different playstyles now and I do highly recommend them to anyone who plays skyrim.
Are these mods all available on the ps4?
Creation club is better for PS4
its funny that four outta five mods are made by the same author
Huh. Was expecting mods like Frostfall, the Notice Board, etc.
Death Incarnate
Oh yes.
Noxcrab and, I guess, diverse combat
Noxcrab nah those are immersion mods
4:52 just a headsup for anyone looking for this mod - unfortunately it seemed to have disappeared from the nexus, and it isn't available on the workshop (as far as i'm aware) either. the only way to get it is through someone who has the mod.
Ya know, I didn’t realize how cool mods could get in all honesty and i get constantly amazed
