I would have NEVER figured this pattern out without your clear video, so thank you for adding it!!!! I love your videos and I think it had made me a better bag maker, or at least I have more confidence now.
Fun Video. Thanks for taking the time to create it. I love using a clapper to get really great creases on all my projects. It makes a huge difference even if you don’t have great steam iron.
This looks like fun! It would make a great cruise ship sea pass card holder. I soooooo recognize the awful sound JUKI makes when you hit something metal. UGH! I have an old TL98e and love it but it is wearing out. At some point I’m going to have to upgrade to a newer one. Thanks for posting
Use a Titanium HL5 (or HA5) size 16 needle for the Juki 98, 2010 or the 2200 series machines when sewing up handbags. Edited to add that using such needles doesn't mean one wouldn't still have to crank the hand wheel.
There is a wedge type block made for sewing mavhines that you could place under the foot slightly and it helps you continue to sew over thick items. Your dogfeeds kick it out while using it. This way you don't break a needle while sewing over a thick piece.
I appreciated this real time video; this is the first time I came across your channel .Can you tell me where did you purchase this lovely rainbow hardware, please?
wow your machine does not sound healthy.......I have one and it is a beast, this is one of my favorite tutorials from you, I think because it was new to you and you went thru the directions, it helps us to understand the designers thought process better, thank you.
@@LaurenMormino ahhh so it could be kept on, but most remove it after the sticky part has adhered........I have not used it yet but the name just through me off, I have ordered it, so when I want to temp. stick something like our zippers.............amazing I have never used it, being a garment maker back in the dark ages I just assumed it was for holding tempory seams up..........thank you Lauren.
Love the clear tape and dry erase marker trick!! Something so simple yet so brilliant.

I've been sewing for 60 years and still love it. I first learned at home and then at school. Where did you learn?
When I'm making a mark with a pen and screw up on the 2nd attempt I change ink color so I follow the correct one when I cut 😬
Just purchased it, Thank you Im such a visual person I really appreciated. Can you make a video for the other one with rivets

Love all your video's. what size thread did u use on this machine?
I use mainly all purpose thread
on the double sided tape, why put it on and then take it off........dumb question I know.
Hold it in place temporarily but it could come lose and get gunk stuck to it
