I would never begin to understand how ppl on drugs feel. I had a pretty hard teenage hood but not on drugs. Father passed when I turn 13 and that experience made me become a big sister, a parent and a husband to my mom, who had been forever sick, so I had to step up and become the family bread earner, go to the market and sell so I could feed my family. I “didn’t really have a teenage life” for I was looking after and taking care of others. When my friends were going on parties and hangout, I wad busy minding a house...this life experience and determination as to what I wanted from life, made me stay away from alcohol and all other addictive drugs. I am not easily influenced by ppl and things, I rather choose the ppl and/or things I want be to be influenced by. My heart goes with those struggling with addictions and I pray that one heals/get out of before it’s too late. Life is hard, but beautiful to live. Be blessed beautiful ppl ♥️🙏🏽😊
After watching Euphoria and Riverdale and every other teen show, I believe I am the only teenager who went to school wearing jeans and hoodies and never solved a murder case in my life as our teachers kept us busy with assignments

This film actually changed my perspective as a drug user. It's all fun and cool at first but after that it's the uncool part. I keep thinking about what would my family feels if i had an overdose and what if i died and leave all of my dreams and hopes behind. I do drugs but still, i have some crazy goals in life and i dont wanna loose it on some white line on the coffee table. I dont wanna waste my time feeling high all the time and let all the oppotunities pass by. I havent been really sober for a long time and this film keeps me sober for over a week and it was the best week of my life. I dont have any jules in my life but i do have a Gia that keeps me safe at all cost. Thanks to this show, im goin clean.

Now, i am approaching my thirties, and i don't have a damned thing to show for it. Just a trail of trauma and broken people who made me realize i am worth more than a constant foggy haze. I am working to go back to college after dropping out a decade ago. I am telling you this before you wake up with a decade behind you wondering why you don't recognize yourself, anymore. Your dreams are worth holding on to and pursuing. I never forgot mine, i just never pursued them. Good luck. We all have to make those decisions alone. 🕊
With hindsight, it’s the best series I’ve ever seen!!! It’s overwhelming! When I was watching the first episode of season 1, I got absolutely bewildered… u know what I mean if u saw it too. While watching the whole series I was constantly gobsmacked. I’m still lost for words… don’t really know how to break everything down I feel towards that… there were episodes which made me feel ecstatic after watching them. And there were moments when I was apprehensive about my mental health watching it, u know what I mean😁 but I ended up the being the opposite. It left me uplifted😌
This looks interesting but I wonder why they didn't set this show in college instead of high school. All the actors are college aged, they dress like college students, party hook up and talk in ways that look way more early twenties than like, 16 or something...not to say none of that can happen, but maybe not all at the same time and SO intensely all the time
I know I'm late... but because they probably want to target their audience to high schoolers whos parents let them watch this kind of stuff... I wanted to watch this but the fact that its so tailored specifically to teenagers is a big turnoff imo
All characters have a little bit of the show writers actual life. He put his own experiences into this. And also half the stuff that happens here can and does happen in these specified age frames. Maybe not as common or dramatic but a shows a show and things have to be heightened
The main reason would be storytelling. I think when stories are set in college it's a bit harder to explain why each character is so much in each other's lives as you don't see each other everyday, you go to a bigger school, you could easily not go to class, you're not as responsible to your parents etc. In high-school, the characters see each other everyday and this helps solidify the plots. Imo

I heard about this when it came out and I heard it's amazing. And o always thought yeeeaaah it's probably great but it's also probably just a regular teenage drama show but then I watched it this weekend AND I'M SO OBSESSED NOW. this isn't a teenager show, it's so deep and visually beautiful and the score just gives it life and I bawled my eyes out in the last scene with zendaya

I am a teen rn and gosh my life is simple af- study study, friends (good friends), study study, swim, badminton etc..
I heard about this when it came out and I heard it's amazing. And o always thought yeeeaaah it's probably great but it's also probably just a regular teenage drama show but then I watched it this weekend AND I'M SO OBSESSED NOW. this isn't a teenager show, it's so deep and visually beautiful and the score just gives it life and I bawled my eyes out in the last scene with zendaya

I watched all the episodes and now I just watched the first one with my bf who did not watched the show and it literally made him sick. He liked it but the cruel reality and the amazing representation of the drug effects caused him SEVEERE ANXIETY AND MADE HIM SICK TO HIS STOMACH. But he said he wants to watch more :))
