  • 2019 Update! I'm selling a complete Nintendo Wii set. Wiiiiii!!!!! Check it out: www.ebay.com/i...
    The newest video tour of my game collection. Sorry for the lack of production quality, it's just a basic run down of the games I own and how it's displayed. I skipped passed the Turbografx games on accident. Those are right below the GBA games. Thanks for checking it out.

      *sigh* I mean, it takes up alot of real estate in the shop...with the amount of time displaying and paying workers overtime I just don't know if it will pay off... the price in mind you probably won't like but you have to see it from my prospective...my bottom dollar would have to be 800$

    what I like most about this guy's collection is he doesn't comment back to all the small minded comments - that's my favourite bit , he knows its awesome , he knows its organised , he knows he has rare stuff , and spin off Mario stuff , you heard him , he knows folks , by god he knows , just enjoy the fact we were able to see his video. loved it Twizer. Its simple stunning.

    The N64 console collection brought me to tears. The custom lamp (plus the curtains in the back!) made me collapse. This is just so beautiful to even look at. If it were me, I wouldn't sell it.

    You guys can all ask why he's selling it a million times, or say he's dumb for selling it, or anything else demeaning and ignorant. I assume none of you have ever endeavored to do something amazing, then it went down your priority list? Cast the first stone guys. It's an astronomical collection, and he was gracious enough to share it with us. I, for one, was very happy to get the tour... Had to pick my jaw up off the floor. I wouldn't really know how to collect on this scale. Got to have started when I was much younger.

    You may have stated something in the video that I missed that would deem this comment irrelevant, but you could totally open a store based on this collection, sell your stock over time, and meanwhile, restock, and still make profit. You've probably got a lot of valuable stuff here. Kudos and props :)

    More than the sheer number of games, the presentation and neatness impresses me most. My OCD loves this!
    You can see how the passion for games literally dies within the tour of this gaming collection. All the retro games he has complete sets and the closer we get to modern gaming he collects less and less of them. Just shows you how the industry has changed and become less about the gamers and more about the $$$$.
    It's no surprise to me that he's finally selling this all off. Other than nostalgia this doesn't equate to much because gaming has been worn down to a nub by corporate interests.

    • @RedShirtDavid
      @RedShirtDavid 9 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Wow. You have got to be either really young, or looking at this with rose colored glasses! During my lifetime games have gotten progressively better. During the days or the original NES there wasn't game fly, or the internet. You either spent $60 on a game in hopes it was good, (which most were fucking terrible, and the companies had zero scruples of screwing you), or you spent almost $10 renting a game for the weekend hoping for the best and still getting screwed. There were some greats, but FAR more horrid, broken, and unplayable games back then. Also, you think it's all corporate and about money now? Are you joking?? Please explain a time to me when it wasn't. The next time you want to shit on the current generation of games, play n64 superman, any of the licensed LJN games, or the other shit games for a couple hours and tell me how bad, "call of duty" is. You're just spoiled...

    • @MelodicMizeryPs3Vids
      @MelodicMizeryPs3Vids 9 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      i dont think the quality of gaming is what made the guy buy less, i think its his age. he most likely bought the games he grew up playing and liking and had a cutoff point of when gaming didnt become collectable or maybe when working took up more time then playing. for me i collect ps3 and nes games. i have a few others but i wont go out of my way to buy anything else. i buy nes because of the memories it gives me. i dont buy n64 because its a era when i started my first job and didnt really know much about the system so it has no value to me to hunt games down for it

    Absolutely beautiful. Just pure amazing. This is just the master collection if I ever saw one. So organized, clean, and customized. Your wife must love you lol. I bet you have OCD. ;) Did you make the shelves and the wooden brand signs like Nintendo and Game Boy yourself? That is so cool how everything is labeled and love the custom fit selves! If you did make them, I'd pay you big bucks to make some for me. I am also a collector and gamer, but had to keep it at a halt recently. Don't have anymore space to continue collecting until I move to Hawaii next year. xD Can't wait to make a game and collectible room. You have inspired me to make it something like this. I would buy this, but I personally enjoy collecting. It wouldn't be fun to buy it all at once. That is the thrill of it like you are on a long quest and a lifetime commitment to achieve. :) Well, good luck to you if you do sell it. I recommended you do not though!!

  • @DerSystematiker
    @DerSystematiker 9 ปีที่แล้ว +1

    On the one hand this is really impressive. My collection is very small compared to this 10+ Systems and about 500 games. BUT on the other hand I rather have 30 or 50 great games for a system but in like new condition with manual and box instead cartridges only of all games. As a collector I always go for "as like new as possible" and nothing but complete - with a very few exceptions of course. If I just wanted to have all NES or Game Gear games just for the sake of having them all and be able to pick any to play, I just could buy a Everdrive and put them all on a SD card.

  • @xboxmodder02

Is this a lifetime of collecting or did you find a large portion of the items at one time? For someone interested in getting into this type of collecting. any tips on where to find games and systems at a fairly cheap price? I am think Garage Sales as a good starter, but beyond that, where else could one go to start getting the collection off the ground?

    Worth maybe $20,000-$40,000 realistically depending on the quality of it all. Someone will likely pay close to double that though to get it all at once simply out of convenience. I definitely understand the desire to get 6 figures out of it all given the difficulty of compiling it all and finding the rare stuff. I think if you managed to find all the original boxes, manuals, etc. for each and every game, you'd easily be looking at $500,000+. It would likely cost close to that to buy the original boxes for them all if you could even find them in good condition. For the MAJORITY of these games, the original packaging/manuals are worth several times more than the actual game.

    Can you think of the name of an NES side scroller where you are a robot and get specific pieces to build your self up as you go?

      I need to do that soon, it's been way to long. I'm picking up a better camera next month. So my goal is April for a new video.

    I notice that you have Wii U games, Xbox 360 Games and PS3 games as shown, but noticed you didn't show them...I'm guessing you're not storing current gen consoles in there? (7th and 8th)
    Apart from that, that's a rockin' collection you have!

    Really great Collection is that a full Sega Genesis set?

    • @AaronTheNorton
      @AaronTheNorton  10 ปีที่แล้ว +5

      Not quite, I'm working on piecing together a Genesis set, so I think there's around 650 on the shelf and a Genesis set is a bit over 700 games.

    I love the masterpiece collection of The Legend of Zelda and Mario! That is precisely the collection I want! I am only collecting Nintendo First and Second party games on Wii WiiU DS 3DS. I have some good GCN titles too! Nintendo is the best to collect!
    Just curious have you gotten into the Amiibo collecting?
