737 ZIBO SimBrief Uplink Tutorial - Flight Plan & Weights | X-Plane 12

- In the #zibo737 you can now uplink (import) both your flight plan and performance (weights) from SimBrief into the FMS. You do not need to put in any login details into the plane / simulator.
This will save you so much time, but is a bit more complicated than other aircrafts, so watch the tutorial carefully!
Make sure you are one of the latest versions (V4 RC5.7 and higher) of the ZIBO 737-800 to be able to do this - if you don't see the FLT PLAN REQUEST button, then update the plane. You can use thig google drive link to update (redownload the full plane folder at the bottom, and overwrite the full folder with the patches): drive.google.c...
This only works for the X-Plane 12 versions of the ZIBO, sorry.

Make sure you now load the weights and fuel etc, it does NOT do this automatically (like in the ToLiss planes for example). Use the tablet like normal to load everything. The uplinking / importing is only for putting in the data into the FMS / FMC / CDU.

I use windows and for some reason when I check the zibo box it dose not give the directory automatically and I don’t even know were I would find the directory
You can actually load the weights if you go to FUEL, WEIGHT & BALANCE -> AIRSIDE SERVICES (page 2) on the tablet, click load OFP in the bottom left, then activate in the top right.
I do not have the Airside services on fuel,weight and balance. Did you enable it on settings? I am running on latest zibo mod and fix btw. I am on XP11 maybe that feature is only for XP12?

@@Ali_Bijani so are you creating a flight plan in the same account as the simbrief downloader? And then using the downloader? Make sure the simbrief/ navigraph account is the same on both the website and the simbrief downloader app.

hi Man, did you edit the video by speeding it up when simbrief opens a new window, PDF etc? how the h is this so fast for you? on my PC it takes several seconds up to 10sec to create the plan, make edits and so on.
It's usually very quick for me, I just use the default chrome PDF reader as it works for me. It takes some time for it to generate the OFP yes but not that long.

Look at the directory in the video and it should be similar for you
Sigh... this is braindead, others have done this correctly, the FMS talks to Simbrief and downloads the data, this is doing the same stupid thing of downloading something into your computer filesystem and then reading it. Just because they talk as though it's an uplink doesn't mean it is. Want to see how its REALLY supposed to be done, try the CL650.

Bit harsh, Zibo is a free to download and use and is one of the best addons in a number of other ways. I want the PDF anyway, and so it isn't a huge amount more effort to also download the flightplan file.
