Jimin is literally the It Boy of Korea right now. He was voted King of K-Pop in 2019, he was just voted as Dabeme Best Dancer for 2020 as well as 2019, his personal brand has been
#1 for the past 12 consecutive months, and he's trending all the time. I am so proud of Jimim. He barely made it into BTS because they already had 6 members and did they need a 7th? Although Jimin was almost cut several times before BTS debuted, he persevered and BigHits saw and admired his drive and determination as well as his talent and the rest as they say is history.

I just couldn't stop smiling while watching this video (when I wasn't smiling I was shocked by the beauty of this boy). I don't know how to explain the feeling I feel when I see anything related to Jimin, but I know that I feel so good and happy looking at a picture of him on my phone, or watching some compilation of him smiling. It makes me feel good, very good. Park Jimin can captivate anyone just by being himself, because he has that power. This power to make everyone fall in love with his sweet and gentle way, but at the same time seductive and irresistible. I just love him so much and he will always be my favorite 💜
The first time I came across BTS was with Boy with love on Spotify and I liked the song so wanted to see who these boys were, so searched the mv on TH-cam. I immediately loved all the boys but Jimin was the one that held my attention, I could see from that first video that his body movements were different and that he had some classical experience. I got so hooked on BTS from that day forward and explored all the content I could find and yes Jimin is my bias since that first video, I really enjoy watching him and to put the cherry on top, he has a beautiful, unique voice, his laugh is infectious, his speaking voice is so soothing, angelic inside out.
He really deserves to be named best dancer and not taking anything away from the other members, they are all unique and BTS as a group has the whole package, the best boy band in the world, The Magnificent 7💜💜💜💜💜💜💜!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
By the way, I introduced my 24yr old son and 19yr old daughter to BTS. Before, they listened to their music and I listened to my music but now we are all connected through BTS’s music and it was such a joy to get up at 5 in the morning to watch their concerts over the weekend. It is my mission to take myself and my children to a live concert one day and I’m hoping that it will be when my daughter turns 21 next year, God willing🙏 Holla to all of you from sunny South Africa 🇿🇦

"Aegyo" (Ah Ea Gee Oa) is the ability to be extremely cute on command: when they put on funny hats and act babysh, for example. In Korean culture not a single actor or performer will be able to attain extreme fame unless they master this art. Aegyo is basically being doll-like and talking like little kids, doing kiddie songs and evoking innocence.

Such amazing point about the seduction in dance styles DT!! Also, I believe it has a lot to do with personality and how open a person is. I always get the feeling Jimin is so seductive in performance because he is a genuinely open and giving person.. he is very aware how happy he is making people :) .. all his seduction and cuteness stem from this. He has probably been told all his life how cute and sweet and warm he is, but to his credit he has sublimated all of that in a way that is generous, loving and intelligent. Aegyo basically means “acting cute.” It’s a cultural thing in Korea. You’ll see lots of Kpop idols and other celebrities get asked to do “aegyo,” and then they’ll do certain cute gestures, expressions, and sounds. Jimin is known for having natural “aegyo,” which means he’s cute without trying. It’s funny cuz when he’s asked to do aegyo, it usually ends up being cringe because he’s embarrassed lol, but when he’s just being himself, he’s extremely cute.
Okay, so I showed some BTS clips to my boyfriend and TOLD. ME. THAT. JIMIN. IS. PRETTIER. THAN. ME. I totally understand. This made me thought certain things about him. Jimin has a certain explosive and charming aura, like no one could copy or steal it from him. His aura is so unique and this man has dangerous duality. Jimin has feminine and masculine charm that attracts any gender and he knows how to use it simultaneously. He is cute and sexy at the same time without even trying. Each of his facial features are soft and quite feminine, tender eyes, small nose, high cheeks, full lips, charming smile but his face as a whole has strong and manly looks. See? His body is tiny and looks delicate but chiselled. His dance movements are graceful but sharp and detailed with emotions. He has monstrous skills but angelic personality. He is a living contradiction. He could always do both. I became an ARMY because of Jimin, he is so captivating (but hey I love the 7 of them it is just Jimin would always be a star).

I completely agree. When I watch BTS dance, I simply can’t take my eyes off how he moves his body. He’s so captivating to watch, let alone listen to his amazing voice.
Okay, so, hear me out:
Jimin is a snake. Specifically, the snake in the garden of Eden that drove Adam and Eve to sin. There's a forbidden, wicked aspect to his stage presence that I love, he is also irresistible. If Hobi and JK are "I'll come and get you" types, Tae's a "you want me but can't have me" type, Jimin is "Come and get me, I dare you". He's so inviting and it feels dangerous when you look at him for too long, he is temptation of the darkest kind.
But again, this is his stage persona. His offstage persona is still a snake, but bcs he is cunning, ambitious, determined, and a natural leader.

He also seems to pay attention to the small things in live, he got moved to an older couple holding hands, befriends every cat and dog, he encounteres, loves children, got concerned for a dove with only one leg, likes to wander through streets and listen to every noise around him, always says he regrets not showing the members enough love after a trip with them. He always reminds them and himself to do smal favors for them constantly so they feel loved and appreciated since they might not be able to be together like this always. This tone sometimes finds its way into his letters to armys also. He often is the last one on stage and says things like "don't get sick", "take care" and " get home safely and dress weather appropriate". He is very caring.

Thank you DT. What better to wake up to this morning. Jimin will put a smile on your face that will stay with you all day. I totally agree with everything you said and that is why he is my bias. He is so in tune with his body and how it feels the music which is why you often see him doing little things the others don't and things that weren't rehearsed, like the jacket in the Blood, Sweat and Tears video which he said was an accident. It is instinctive when he is really feeling it. He is so captivating that sometimes when you watch him dance you actually forget to breathe. The guys are all amazing and extremely talented but Jimin just has that extra something special.

Absolutely agree about his duality. I see his classical dance training showing in the way he holds his posture, as if suspended by a string on the top of the head, straight spine, weight on front of feet. To see this difference, check out a short video (2:38) of Mikhail Baryshnikov and Gregory Hines from the movie "White Knights" (movie not so good). Really shows style difference. Thank you. Of course, I have heard of the movie but I have never seen it. I was watching their dance with my mouth open. That is not easy for a classically trained ballet dancer.

Because in my honest opinion, the way jimin moves, the way he dances, and his facial expressions are just so outstanding. I'm not a dancer but I watched a lot of dance analysis and dance covers in my whole life, but no one, as in NO ONE, not even other kpop idols is as much nor even close as captivating and mesmerizing when dancing like jimin. He is just so unique in my eyes.
