  • Day 1 of my 'Barrier Reef Discovery' 10 night cruise departing Sydney, Australia, on the Pacific Explorer. After the day starting out beautiful, sunny and warm, it rapidly turned (just in time for the cruise) Cold, wet and increasingly windy. Not to worry, the rest of the cruise was better.
My boarding time, as chosen, was around 1pm. The cruise departed around 7.30pm (from memory)

What a shame you had such bad weather to sail out of Sydney Harbour. I would have waited on the promenade deck out of the weather. Did you separate the beds to give yourself some extra room in the cabin? Looking forward to the next video.

No I didn't, it was a Queen size .(my choice). Yep sensible to stay dry, which any normal person would have done. But I wanted to follow my tradition with the filming 😆

I was on her for the Tasmania cruise in October and loved every minute before she went to go to Adelaide it was the first cruise I took since July 2019 when I went on the Barrier Reef Discovery cruise on Explorer back then

that would have been a great cruise, I know someone else who went on it too. I bet it seemed to go fast, as all cruises do..

That will be an amazing cruise and the weather should still be pretty good here

I would loved to have done that cruise from Adelaide but the cost of return flights from Wellington is exorbitant. Not to mention the time to and from Adelaide as well... way too long.
