Don’t believe everything you see. We went on quantum of the sea to Alaska in 2024 only to find out that the north star was not working and it had been over a year since it was operating. Even before we went on the trip they said it was working. until we got on the ship and sailing only to find out that the crew said it’s has not been worked over a year.. Can’t believe or hear anything they say because I called three times and they said it was working . It was a big letdown to hundreds and thousands that were on the ship. Beware of their tactics and selling you something and only to get there and it not working. I can understand if it just broke down, but it’s been a year and still selling it as a main attraction.

I was on this ship in October. North Star out of service entire 10 nights. (Vancouver to Honolulu.) That was fine, as I have been on it on the Ovation. However, I am curious. What have you found that is decent to eat on this ship? We thought the food (all of it) was abysmal!!! Could not wait to get off in Hawaii and eat lol. No more RCI for us!

I was on this ship November 4th of 2019, we went out to the South Pacific and we got back a few days just before COVID hit Australia. We were quite lucky

Even given the age of this video, the images are still captivating and great to see. And isn't it interesting to see the people in this video just looking and enjoying the experience in a time where mobile phone cameras weren't around, and everyone would normally be busy trying to grab selfies for the 'insta' likes 👍

Watching these lovely scenes from here in the UK where winter has arrived early with snow and sub-zero temperatures. A real treat to see these warm sunny days.

Great video! Brought back special memories of my first cruise. It was on this beautiful ship to the Caribbean in 2011. Have been on many more since, on the HAL Koningsdam & Rotterdam.

I was going to NZ on this ship but I got sick and I couldn’t go as I had to cancel two days before

This is not your usual slow and relaxing pace, with the soft and calming sound track to accompany the slow departure of the vessel. This is a fast and anxious production that reflects the pace of the city during a limited lunch break. I enjoyed every minute of it, and I appreciate your biking efforts to bring this to us. I hope indigestion was not a result of filming on the fly while the trucks are rushing by 😂. I look forward to your next video.

I have walked deck 12 a number of times there seemed to be plenty of room as I wide the roomier part between the pool and the deck chairs to move as I have been on Explorer twice so far and had a great time onboard and I have done 2 cruises so far both on Explorer

This is an interesting video. I have not sailed on this ship, and from what I have seen here, I am not sure if I want to. The area around the pool is too crowded with deck chairs obstructing the walkways along the deck. Maybe I am hasty with my observation, but I don't know how safe deck 12 would be in an emergency.

This is an amazing video with your trademark close-up shots of both ships. I am assuming this is a coastal freighter due to its size as measured with its proximity to Coral Princess, which is a midsized cruise ship. Thanks for this really interesting video.
