Solo Hiking 180 km on Alta Via n.2 of Valle d’Aosta in Italy

In August '24 I hiked one of the most panoramic and beautiful high routes in Italy, the Alta Via n.2 of the Aosta Valley. The route, 180 kilometers long with over 12,000 meters of elevation gain, begins in Courmayeur, with the marvelous beauty of Mont Blanc, and ends in Donnas, passing through the Gran Paradiso National Park and the Mont Avic Natural Park.
The trail is characterized by high Alpine passes (the highest, Col Loson, is over 3,200 metres), majestic waterfalls and wonderful valleys.
