I own 2 different kinds of Cleto Reyes gloves along a host of other brands. Thanks in part to Carlo and his great reviews! But I don't think of Reyes as the bench mark any longer. Other manufacturers have come a long way in quality, comfort and price.
which one do u think is the “bench mark”
or the best cleto reyes style glove?
Hi Carlos thanks to you I always look at the products you review. I got pair rfx Guerrero rival wish I had got 8 ounce for bag work. Rival love thinking behind there products always some loose stitching on products. Am getting Reyes high precision gloves next. Thanks for all posts you do am surprised you don't have shop TC

Picking up a pair of these in custom lace up.
I thought you might find it interesting that they gave me the padding breakdown.
"First layer latex 1cm, second layer EVA 0.5cm, third layer latex 1cm for knuckles and the last layer high density foam for comfort."
I'm assuming the high density is polyurethane.
Any thoughts on this combination?

So here’s a short summary of my experience with these gloves. I don’t own a pair of theses, but in my gym, there’s a lot of TC32’ pairs for everyone to use them or for sparring. So talking for what I have seen, the first thing I noticed in the long term of usage, is the paint tends to fall apart or kinda Brakes. I know this is not 100% for the product itself, as I mentioned those gloves are used by everyone who forgets their pair or are new in the gym, they borrow them for the day. Neither they have the right care as if they were yours. Another thing, is the foam used for the knuckles, they don’t perform so good in a long term, it will brake, I have a pair of cleto reyes for 2 years and the foam is at 90% of life even though I use them everyday and I’m a heavy guy above 100kgs. I know they will improve, and hope they do because their gloves are beautiful in really cool colors. But comparing these Vs Cleto, hands down I will go for cleto Reyes. Price is similar, but quality is still like a big gap.

Totally opposite experience for me. A year in on the TC32 are holding up very well.
Went through my last pair of 16oz Cleto's (which weighed 13oz) in just under 6 months. Seam split on the side and my knuckles were piercing through the padding..
