I ordered the 14oz PuLat gloves, and before he shipped, he said they came in 2oz over, and he couldn't make them the correct weight. He said in order to get the weight to 14oz, he would have to put the material in a 12oz profile. I just OK'd that, but I'm not thrilled about the concept right now.
Great review Carlo. Torres Medina is a fantastic glove. I think you should consider doing more videos where you cut into the top brands to see the differences. I think it would be very interesting to see the differences.
I've got pair of Fly Superloop X. I like that there's some crack in them unlike some super padded gloves even if they are not using latex. Looking to get one of these TM gloves, in your opinion, which one's similar to the Superloop Xs? The PU or the Pulat. How would you compare them to the Flys?
Idk i dont have TM but I have cleto reyes and Flys super loop. Bro, cletos is way better. it's real leather vs. artificial. Flys are good gloves, but for 200$ and made in China I don't think it's worth the value. Yes, the padding is very good, but for the money, I would look at different options unless you get it on sale.
Great review. I got these in 16oz PU and they are very comfortable gloves, beautifully crafted. It'd be interesting to try them side by side with the PULat version to feel the difference. I've got the Eizo Supreme's in 16oz on the way off the back of your recommendation, looking forward to trying them out and seeing how they compare with the TMs.
@just_my_blog theyre both very nice gloves, depends on your preferences. The TMs have denser padding so give better feedback, but the Eizos are more protective. The Eizos make a fist really easily, the finger compartment is really easy to clench, which I like. The TMs have a longer cuff which I personally prefer. The Eizos are better for Dutch pads with my hand size (average) as they're a slightly snugger fit, but the TMs work fine as well. I probably edge the TMs but I could see why other people would prefer the Eizos.
@@Doreenrrrr do the Eizos and the TMs have any problems with bunched up liner/ wrinkly loose liner anywhere in the glove? i especially hate it when there is wrinkly loose bunched up liner in the finger compartment.
I finally pull the trigger on these gloves. I was debating the combat corner hmit Mexican boxing gloves. However, I went with the boxeo tm pulat, because I always wanted to try a mexican style glove that is made from mexico lol. I hope I made the right choice. Maybe, I will get the combat corner gloves next time
@@ARPat2000I just ordered a pair a couple of days ago. they have a very long wait time. I will get them in 3 months. I was going to order the salvador which are in the same price bracket. those have a 6 month wait time though. I ended up going with the Torres Medina instead. I would say go for it. Lots of people say these are even better than the cleto reyes. cleto's are said to be one of the top 5 boxing gloves you can buy.
@ARPat2000 LOL, I'm canadian as well. I bought with sales code. Save like 10%, and i got another one on black Friday which was 20 percent off. I am liking them. Good on the bag and for sparring. Can't spar with them right for the pulat model right away. You need to do maybe 10 to 15 rounds on the bag to soften the the padding. And it is perfect. Good feedback on the bag, no complaints from my sparring partner. I have medium size hands and fits perfect.
@@ARPat2000I wouldn't pay 300 or 400 for reyes. So, I went with these. My friends and I compare reyes vs boxeo tm. The comfort was way better because of the lining. Also, liking the hand protection better too.
Wanna pull the trigger on another good quality glove in the $150-$200 price range. Looking at these or the Phenom SG 202 in a 12oz. Which would you recommend?
Hi Im wondering what padding is better? Pu (the padding of the torres medina latest vid) or this PuLat? I mean the most sweet or clean if u know what i mean
Just a heads up: you can request the glove weight to be more accurate when ordering so gloves don’t come in heavy
I'm trying to order but don't see an area to request precise weight.
How come the website says 2000-3000$ is that peso then converted during check out or are these puppy’s really that crazy expensive haha
