Runa, yes, it reminds me of Noway for sure. Thanks for a lovely episode, great photography, stunning scenery, well picked appropriate music, it's obvious how much effort you put into this. Keep up the great work. ❤ 😊 happy travels. Nice to have you back.
Hi Runa 👋, Milford sound is stunning and also the whole ride was, love the bird taking food off your hand, filmed 14 days after my birthday, I don't think I have said before (please forgive me) your commentary on the videos is so good and I find soothing, also your filming is like the scenery stunning 👏. Thanks for another great video, Take care of yourself, My best wishes to you from Roy in England 👍😊.
Good day, England 😃 That's kind of you. It's a work in progress, and I love trying to find new ways to make my content a liiiiittle bit better each time. Thank you Roy, and I hope you have a great day!
Hi Runa, The memories of my past trips to NZ keep flooding back for me with every video. Now you know why I had to go back 5 times (so far) and drive the Milford Sound Rd a second time. Just a stunning place isn't it. Did you manage to do the Fjord boat cruise? I wondered if safe bike/gear storage would still be unavailable ? I did the boat cruise out to where the fjord meets the ocean and back again in two different years. Passing all the glorious waterfalls, it was wonderful. Homer Tunnel takes you by surprise when you first enter doesn't it, because it is so dark & dripping water & immediately decends steeply downhill. I wiped away a couple of tears watching this, loved this video Runa, Thanks so much for sharing again, made my day. All the best from Australia.🤩🤩🤗🦘🦘
I totally understand why you have visited so many times, I already feel like going back! Such a stunning country, with incredible variety. I did not do a boat cruise this time - I did not plan well enough 😅 Thank you for your always kind comments and for following along on my adventures 🥰 Hope you have a great day!
@@OffSheGoesADV This worked for me Runa, pre-booked the boat cruise ticket on-line (picked one of the twin hulled catamaran boat cruises), stayed in small motel in Te Anau day before (explored the excellent DOCS visitor centre on the Te Anau Lake foreshore), left early next morning for Milford Sound, arriving at the Fjord before 10:00am, only stopping at a few spots. Found a car/bike park, took the free bus (or walk 10mins) around to the boat wharf, enjoyed the wonderful boat cruise (1hr 45min approx). Then took my time on the drive/ride out of Milford, stopping at all the beautiful places for photos etc that I drove past on the way down. I am wondering if you visited Dunedin and the stunning Larnach Castle, but dont tell me, I'll just wait and see where your adventure took you next. 😁😆🤩🤩 All the Best Runa. 🦘🦘
An archer, a nurse and an adventurer. A very attractive rider. Been following your story for a while . Love your adventure...something that I have been dreaming to do. Just that I am not ready to leave my job yet. Wish you well in every ride you take.
New Zealand is where mother nature put all of her leftovers & spare bits. A desert, some fjords, forests, etc. Stunning scenery, and nice to bump into some other riders!
I've been waiting for this video ever since I saw you were going to ride in New Zealand, and it didn't disappoint! I'd guessed that your latest profile photo was taken at the Eglinton Valley Viewpoint and I guessed right. Great camera work and editing as always, and I'm so glad you had the right weather. Thanks again for taking us along!
You are awesome, awesome attitude as always and one that really knows how to greet the day and what ever comes your way, beautiful country to say the least, like my fellow countrymen I wished I was there with them especially to meet you would have been the icing on the cake, but I digress, look forward to next video, many thanks Runa, Rob from U.S.
Thank you very much, Rob! That's kind of you 😊 Was so cool meeting the Americans down in the sound, being just as excited about NZ as I was. Hope you have a great day over there! 😊
He might have been on a Norden, but it was pretty easy to spot a GS rider, standing up to ride through a parking lot LOL😆 Amazing scenery in this episode, I'm looking forward to what's next! Thanks for bringing us along😊
Greetings to Brazil 👋 😃 New Zealand was so rich on beautiful camp sites! And these ones were cheap as well, with their very basic standards. Double win 😁
Hi Runa, Thanks for another terrific episode. Your filming was once again spot on. Milford Sound is a beautiful place, and those mountains... absolutely breathtaking! Safe travels. See you in the next one. ❤
Sometimes when I watch your videos,I find them so calming i actually fall asleep after them 😊 I wonder if anyone else experiences this. What a lovely ride this episode was,Thank you Runa ✨🧚♂️
What an amazing place Runa, its somewhere I could see myself living ( in another life). I love your relaxed delivery and it doesn't detract from the overall experience that there is no audio during travelling, really. Oldtimer (biker of 50 years) Englishman wishing i was young again.
Me too! Such a lovely country that seems to have it all. And thank you very much, I'm glad you liked it. I hope I can call myself a biker of 50 years in the future, that is impressive! 😊
I've just watched Henry Cole's 2 episodes of a m/c tour of NZ. Enthusiastic is to understate it, but he didn't go to Milford Sound, but you have! I'm so envious. I've subscribed so that I can catch up with the other parts you've been to and are going to go to. A staggeringly beautiful country. Enjoy.
Welcome aboard, David! Glad you liked it, and hope you'll enjoy what's coming. Can't go wrong with fjords and mountains 😊 Now I'm curious about Henry's episodes, I have got to take a look!
It was epic! Same kinda mountains like Norway, but with then you look around and there is bush and palm trees and all sorts of exotic vegetation at the side of the road - loved it
I have been watching a few foreigners doing vlogs on NZ travels, this is my first watching a solo traveller, it was the motorbike to Milford that did it. I have a good Norwegian lady friend living in the south of NZ, so that was another reason. Really cool video, keep up the great work.
That's nice to hear! Loved traveling through New Zealand - the variety in the landscape really took me by surprise. Kept things interesting every day! Thank you and hope you have a great day over there 😊
Your narration was good, these things happen, and in the middle of nowhere it's difficult to sort. But to be honest the beautiful scenery spoke for itself. Thank you.
Thank you, Stephen! Glad you liked it 😊 And yes that's true. It turned out to be a nice challenge to change things up a bit with how I filmed through the day, too!
Great video. I have driven that road many times for work and for pleasure. But it must have been so much fun on a bike. I have sailed the Sogne Fiord in Norway. Very similar scenery. Not so many tourists there. Thankfully.
Oh wow that must have been a nice sailing! Seeing the landscape from the seaside is so different. It sure was a fun road to drive - NZ road standards are good!
Your videos are really beautiful, incredible landscapes, you really make us dream 🤗😁😍 And if I keep following you, I will end up interested by a norden 😅😅 Thanks for your sharing Runa 🥰👌✌️

So onward and upward , destinations to come and be marvelled at. Cheers Runa - how is work now that your back at the hospital in Stavanger?
Haha, true! Thank you, Atholl 😊 It actually turned out to be a nice challenge, to not rely on the helmet audio! Actually, I don't work as a nurse anymore. I just realized, I don't think I ever shared any of that on youtube, except for in my presentation at ABR 😳 I actually quit my full time job last year, and now I do content creating full time, both for myself and a couple clients! My goal is to do ONLY this, but I'm in no rush 😊
It really is amazing in those mountains-the best I have ever seen, even in my own life. You know, in your face shot, riding with your helmet and camera attached, you look like "The Creature From The Black Lagoon" from the old sci-fi flick. Roaming around those parts a hundred years ago might not have been safe to look like that.
@@OffSheGoesADV I know. Also, at the time I made that comment I wasn’t even thinking about your experience with the opposum but your experience of that screeching kind of crept in on me and I found myself thinking about it. No, I did not do the boat trip! I did not plan well enough as I was there pretty late in the day and the tunnel closed off in the evening. Still had a fantastic experience riding there😊 And hey, just one more reason to go back some day!

Oops 🙊 I have heard the NZ cops can be quite... strict indeed!
@@OffSheGoesADV most are pretty reasonable, especially down south. But there's always the odd one on a power trip. Some of them hate bikers too.
Glad you survived the trip safely. Loads of bikers die on NZ roads, with tourists on the wrong side etc.
Looking forward to your next trip. You have a really easy presenting style, enjoyable to watch.
me gusta mucho ber estos pasages parece aqui en españa en girona que no hay agua ni en los pantanos que estan secos
❤😍👌👏
Hey there. Possums sound a lot more horrible than that. That sounded like a Kiwi to me.
For example

It was the only possum sound I found that I could use without copyright issues in my video 😊 Totally forgot to record any sound on my own that night
Did you grow up with Brothers?! ;-)
Haha, no only sisters!
