I lived in Vancouver for 7 years. Leaving was the best decision I ever made. Moved to a smaller town where I could afford to live. Bad memories of terrible landlords, long lineups, and vain people. Living in Vancouver seems dreamy when you're a teenager or in your early 20s. It's not. If you want to own your own home someday and not die working, then leave Vancouver for a more affordable community. Smaller towns are desperate to attract young people, so get in while the getting is good.
