Good fun! I recall friends and I climbing Lick Skillet in the late 90s on road bikes with 39 front, 25 back. We were barely turning over the cranks and happy to not tip over. Too crazy to descend it so we would go down Sunshine.
My sister lives in the area (I live in Michigan). I was visiting her last Feb and we drove by the bottom of Lickskillet and she told me what a beeyotch it was. I had a hard time imagining what she meant. Now I get it

I like to run and have heard of Magnolia Road but I can’t believe I’ve never heard of lickskillet until now.
