The Dirty Reiver is a gravel event that takes place up between the border between Scotland and England. It's one of the most popular gravel rides out there and Sam Gupta decided to take it on. He rode the 130km distance and in this video he shares all of his best tips for riding a big gravel event. Fun video and looks like a gorgeous route! One pet peeve, though, is calling a gravel ride or gravel event, a "gravel race". Maybe "gravel grinder" is more appropriate - racing at the front, but riding for fun in the pack. Regardless, keep the gravel content coming!

Why do we call this race? Clearly everyone is taking their time at food stops etc. I'd just call it an organized ride.
