It should have been Solo. They already had moments of tension and at the time he was the only one to not turn on Roman before he lost the belt. Or Dom with a MitB cash in then you get OG Judgement Day vs OF Bloodline before both groups implode
@WrestleChop RIGHT! I'd Have Damian and Finn protect Dom as they feel it would be easier to beat him then Roman. Eventually Rhea will have to to choose between her brother, Sinor MitB, and her lover. Only to be betrayed by Dom at SS, for Liv. They would be so annoying with matching titles. When they have to face the Terror Twins Dom smacks the ref in the face and he and Liv run away with their titles while the rest of Judgement Day catch hands 🤣
May I say solo sikoa hasn’t won any gold since he came to the main roster not a Mid Card belt not a tag belt but let’s just give him the undisputed belt
@hassan69-1 He almost won the tag team belts with Roman but Jimmy and Jey kicked him in the face. Also every time it was Solo's turn Jimmy and Jey would start challenging Roman. So really that's Jimmy and Jey's fault. Roman always looked at Solo different than Jimmy and Jey.
My 2 picks: Sami - Just beat Roman at EC 2023 but then Kevin betrays him at WC and beats him at WM39 to become the heel that he already is today. Kevin - He could get revenge for Roman and then turn heel at some point and then lose to Sami at either SummerSlam or Survivor Series or WM40 or a Canadian PLE
Another person that could have been on the list is Kevin Owens. Even though we have seen this twice at two different Royal Rumbles, he most definitely would have gotten a huge pop for the win❤. Imagine Roman saying you have never beaten me and your only singles main event match at Wrestlemania you lost to Stone Cold Steve Austin and he hadn’t wrestled in twenty years.
@@brgoldstein yeah that would have been a good story. Maybe after Sami lost. Ko comes back and says one more time or I’ll never challenge you for the title again
Either sami, jey or drew As much i love cody, i feel like he was handed the title just because of his father never having it and it overshadowed everyone's else story that was already feusing with roman especially because they didnt have beef frfr It was totally forced
Sami and Jey for sure have a case. I'm glad they waited on Drew because the version of Drew we have right in this moment is the best version of all time. I wish Cody and Roman had feuding between 39 and 40 off an on to really build heat. But instead Cody just won Rumbles and was like ok time to finish. Rock and Cody seem to have more heat than Roman and Cody.
I get your point about Jey. He wasn't ready yet but now with what he has become (because of Roman) it could be done. The story line at the time was all about Jey but to become the guy that carries everything for WWE was probably too much for WWE to pull the trigger.
Tbh Seth, and not even during the Royal Rumble. Seth still hasn’t had his peak moment in his career it feels like and with the history of Reigns and Rollins you have Seth be the only one to know how to beat Roman Reigns
My picks were Jey, Sami, and Seth. Ultimately I feel like years from now we’ll all look back and say that Cody was the right choice but I feel like it started with Jey so I could have ended with Jey but that Summerslam or that match wasn’t particularly good. Sami had the best story and would have been my pick but idk if he could have handled being champ after Roman. With Seth when I started watching wrestling and learned about the Shield I said that I thought it should have been him the moment could have been like Shawn Michaels and Rick Flair and he could have been like “I love you Roman. I’m sorry” and stomped him and pinned him lol.
Your comment is absolutely on point. However that “I love you Roman” part blew my mind! That could have been such replayed moment and actually started a healing process between the two! That is some amazing booking! For real I love that!
Sami's storyline would have been best but here is the answer...Edge. He had his moment dashed by Daniel Bryant. So If he won the Rumble again, the story would have been there.
My choice, and I'm biased, is Jey Uso. Continuing the story line between him and Roman. I still don't get the whole Jimmy turning on Jey in the first place. Doesn't make any sense.
GOLDBERG! GOLDBERG! GOLDBERG! GOLDBERG! GOLDBERG! GOLDBERG!!!! But really edge at mania instead of that shit we got with him and Daniel Bryan. Or him. Or brock should have become the undisputed champion instead. Or goldberg.
Jey Uso, Kevin Owens, Seth Rollins. They're my picks
Solid picks.

RIIIIIIGHT
True
MITB or not....Dom beating Roman would have broken the Internet so bad that it would still be down to this day.

Jey uso is a good option for the Roman rub that would’ve really made him a true Main eventer
Can’t argue that
No.

it should've been Stu, john cena's cameraman. he already does the john cena schedule because every time john cena appears, stu is there too.

I would have been happy but the aftermath would have probably hurt jey. Right now though I could 100 percent see the world title on him
@@WrestleChop Yes, now with the level of popularity and the amount of money he is making for WWE he definitely could carry a Championship.
Tbh Seth, and not even during the Royal Rumble. Seth still hasn’t had his peak moment in his career it feels like and with the history of Reigns and Rollins you have Seth be the only one to know how to beat Roman Reigns

I was not a fan of edge winning because I’m not a fan of face edge. Personal feelings aside I can’t deny a story would have been there.
No cap Kevin Owen or Nakamura really could’ve used the rubb
Nakamura is deserving but story didn’t call for it
My choice, and I'm biased, is Jey Uso. Continuing the story line between him and Roman. I still don't get the whole Jimmy turning on Jey in the first place. Doesn't make any sense.
Jimmy turning never made sense the moment he rejoined Roman
I read at some point that the Day 1 main event between roman and brock was supposed to have brock beat roman. But roman got covid so it didn't happen
Crazy how 1 thing changing resulted in where we are at now!
Drew should have I wouldn’t have mind at all.
I’d love for him to get it as he is right now. Such an amazing character!
New video new comment and that comment is hornswoggle should have beat romen
New reply saying that I almost went with hornswoggle but I didn't want a returning legend to swope in to get the title.

Seth Rollins or dean Ambrose/jon moxley
I wish!
