This video actually helped me troubleshoot a set of wireless earbuds from another manufacturer. I received my earbuds brand new but found the batteries were draining until they stopped working completely. I was actually going to return them but after watching your video it helped me to realize the manufacturer added a very small film of light blue plastic over the contacts in the ear buds as I took a closer look at the earbud contacts. Removing this fixed my problem. Your video helped me realize that the pins had to contact something metallic on the earbuds. The piece of film over the contacts was so small that I thought it was part of the design. Thank you so much.
I have JBL tuneflex and I really love how comfortable they are and the quality of the audio they provide. But honestly this recurring problem made me regret buying them and I am honestly going to think not once, not twice, but thrice before purchasing any JBL product again. The design is so bad that both my friend and I happened to face the same problem within 3 weeks of purchasing them. Thanks for the video :)

Thanks for posting this video. I cleaned everything with rubbing alcohol and it still wasn't working. I found your video, and discovered that one of the charging pins was stuck in the down position. I'll be happy to have both of them working again once they're charged 👍

You saved the day! Looks like the middle prong of the left earbud port had gotten stuck down. I had to use a nail clipper to grip it and pull it up, as tweezers just weren’t grabbing it tightly enough. Thank you! 🙏
Only One side of mine was charging. I checked and couldn’t depress the centre pin. I cleaned with tissue and then depressed easily. Now both sides are working. It was a build of of grime or earwax or god knows what. Thank you 🙏 😊

So I've done all the steps and my right charging pod is still not working. Interestingly, I tried to charge the right earpiece on the opposite pod, tied it down with an elastic band and it charges fine. Hence, the right charging pod is definitely faulty and I don't know how else to fix it. Help me out. Ty.

That's the same issue as the charging issue your headphone is turning off because it has no charge and the light won't turn on because there isn't a connection with the pins like he said in the video

Thank you i have those same earbuds and i was wondering why was the left one always out of battery, turns out that it was a bent pin in the charging case so i bent it back in to place and pulled it up a bit and now it works!
This was helpful! I didn't have to pull the pins out like in the video. I just had to tap the case upside down against my palm and that was enough to bring the pins out.

Hi, it sounds like the battery is bad - a friend of mine had the same issue. Since yours are new I’d try to get them replaced. I’m not sure how warranty returns are handled in Norway. Can you just get a replacement at the store?

This totally worked!! Pulled on the pins with tweezers and it started to work.

Life saver. These ideas helped my JBL 225's. A littler harder to clean fue to a deeper charging hole but after a few rounds it worked!
