She was not only extremely gorgeous but she was the first to be very sympathetic to others and reached out to those with aids or always very genuinely caring towards children or the sickly, she wasnt afraid to show it, some others nowadays you can see just put on a "show" to emulate her and to get better public exposure. She was truly genuine. That is why the public loved her so very much.

Charles was so jealous, and I believe the whole family was too. And it is understandable, Diana was from another world, full of grace, can’t imagine her pain throughout the years in that family and not seeing any way out.

OK, I find family history interesting. If they were 3rd cousins one of their great grandparents would be a sibling of my great grandparents! I know this as have been researching my own family history and I am as far as I know not related to Diana or Sarah. Thanks for the clarification!

Her concern is evident. Then she warns the journo that she’s about to walk into a telegraph pole. There’s nothing contrived about her actions. Her natural concern for others was as natural as breathing. I idolised Diana (8 years my senior) for her style and her charisma. But now, as a woman in my early 50s, I am completely bowled over by those 2 examples of her kindness and gentleness. You can’t fake those qualities. It’s heartbreaking that her grandchildren will never know her. Hopefully, they inherit her qualities. RIP Diana.

I’m not entirely sure what Janice Raby was talking about, but I think we all now realise that Charles has no intention of keeping the vows he made on his wedding day - no intention whatsoever! When I was 13 I felt so sorry for Diana, having to marry Charles. I thought that she was too beautiful to have to marry such an ugly man. I no longer think he was ugly - just a weak, spineless overgrown boy who punished Diana for his own shortcomings. He also punished her for being so popular with the British public. Diana's bloodlines are indeed more 'English/British' than those of the BRF which are more German, but Diana's lines are not more 'royal' in connection to the royal houses of Europe.

Knowing the eyes of the world are on you, why did Fergie engage in this kind of behavior. What made it worse was having the children with you. If she had used her head she would have kept a low profile until the interest in her and Andrew's separation had died down. With what was going on with Diana and Charles it wouldn't have been long. This girl should have learned something about being in the Royal family, how to try and cater to them just to make life easier for her and her daughters. Some might say that would be sucking up to this weird family but bowing to them now would insure that she would be around in the future when the Queen and Prince Phillip would be gone and that generation would be in the driver's seat and they could bring the monarchy into the 21st century with no interference from the old guard or as Diana called them "heavy furniture". Unfortunately Fergie and to a point Diana were both too immature to handle stuff which was way over their heads. Now both are gone but it seems their time with the RF had not been a waste of time. Sofie seems to have no problems with the RF. Maybe she is determined not to make the same mistakes as her sister in law. Same for Kate and Meghan. Sad thing is that both Diana and Sarah wanted to do good things for the country. Hope it will be better for this new generation. Kate and William and Harry and Meghan seem to be successful.

I'm not a big fan of the English royals but this doc on Diana, Sarah and their husbands is well done. But in the end, no one will be able to have a character more firm and self less than our current Queen Elizabeth. I remember when they made fun of her Panorama interview on SNL (Saturday Night Live) in 1995 with a male actor dressed as she was on the show however they exaggerated his face with ultra heavy eyeliner and he really put on the suck basset hound eyes to mock her demeanor....BUT try finding it anywhere online . ????? It's disappeared!!!! It was extremely funny.
