Guitar Lesson: How To Play I Don't Know Anything by Mad Season

- I didn't look into it, but I bet Layne Staley wrote the riff to Mad Season's I Don't Know Anything. I have come to this conclusion because it is A) simple, B) weird, and C) most excellent. Also he plays guitar on this one when they played it live and is responsible for the harmonics. That's my story and I'm sticking to it.

I believe that is a 2nd fret bend on the low E string, not a 3rd.

David is correct it is on the 2nd fret.... I used to play it on the 3rd too but its definitely 2nd
It's second fret in standard tuning 3rd in Eb tuning
