Great video Sir! Can you please provide your opinion on below strategy - Deep otm Short strangle on Nifty at expiry date. The thought process is to collect small premiums every week on Thursday. When market opens on Thursday we sell one Nifty deep Otm call of premium 2 Rs and one deep otm put of premium 2 Rs. I'm assuming there delta would be more or less similar. So the Idea is to collect small premium of 4 Rs at expiry. Total earnings- 75*4=300 Rs for one lakh margin approx. For ten lakh margin it's 3000 RS per week and 12000 RS per month on zerodha. With brokers that provide more margin like upstox or 5 paisa it will be around 20000 rs per month. In worst case if nifty moves up violently, we close the put trade, book small profit and sell another put option close by the call sell strike price, thus negating the loss. Example Thursday market opens at 9000 Sell call of 8500 ( 2 Rs Premium) Sell put of 7500 ( 2 Rs Premium) If it's range Bound 4Rs in pocket. - Question 1) please let me know is the probability 100 percent or market can swing so huge that premium of 2 Rs becomes 10 Rs? How much Max can it practically become. Suppose market swings widely and becomes 9400 , we close 8500 put and sell another put of 9300. Question 2) Will this strategy prevent my loss? Can I have some Stop loss from beginning also? Overall is it a good Idea? I want a small constant source of monthly profit of around 20000 Rs with 10 lakh capital.
