Hello po. Our online review class will start on November 23. I'm just summarizing concepts in Law, and Audtheo right now, for me to have reviewers. For Tax, I am just STARTING to refresh the concepts in Tabag book, but I'm not yet answering MCQs. In short, all I did was to make reviewers and refresh concepts. Do you think I'm on the right track or should I answer na po some problems or MCQs?
Hello. I think you're on the right track. Ganyan din ginawa ko before the formal review started. I made notes on some of the subjects saka ako nagstart magsagot ng MCQs. Right now, focus muna on learning the basic concepts kasi you'll have a lot of opportunity to answer MCQs once the formal review starts. Kaya mo yan! Good luck 😊

Hello, I hope you're still active in this channel po. What do you usually do po if its not your prime time?? huhu my prime time is at night, and in the afternoon po, Im really trying to read and do practice pero hndi talaga na aabsorb ng utak ko huhu
Usually if it's not my prime time and I'm not in the mood to study, I sleep so I can have more energy during my prime time. If I can't sleep naman, I try to entertain myself by playing video games and watching movies. It happens to everyone talaga. May times na hindi kayang ma absorb ng utak mo whatever your studying so what I do is I try to go out and do other activities aside from studying until I get guilty enough and then actually start studying. It's on a case to case basis but it worked for me. Hehe I hope this helps ☺️

Thank you so much for this video, sir. :) I’m a senior bsa student and i’m planning to start reviewing na while we have our internship. May tips po ba kayo how to start? Or any advice po.
Hi Jamaica! I suggest you start reading the concepts again and then answer review materials na. Take it slowly lang. Don't rush yourself too much. Basta ang importante, meron kang natututunan everyday. Rooting for you!
Hi MJ! You need to create a study schedule and you must stick to it and be consistent. Make sure to study based on the syllabus for each subject and create a schedule that would enable to study everything before the board exams. For your reviewers, you may use whatever reviewer that you have already accumulated and try bartering with other students from other schools. You can also search for reviewers online. Some of them have already been uploaded in Facebook groups, Scribd, Academia, etc. You can also try listening to audio lectures. I did this evertime I had to miss a review class or when I was stuck in traffic. It really helps! Practice practice practice. There's no other way. And when you're trying to answer a difficult problem or you're trying to understand a confusing concept, you may try reaching out to your professors and even to your classmates. Wag mahiya. You're helping them too when you ask them questions. Lastly, I think there's not much difference between self-review and the traditional review. If there's anything, maybe you have more time to study since you don't need to go to review classes everyday. It all boils down to your discipline and determination. Kayang kaya mo yan! Hoping for the best this October 2020 exams! 😊
Hi MJ!! Hope all is well. I just uploaded a video regarding my Tips in Answering Accounting Problems. You might want to check that out too heheh Salamat!

Hello Nerc. Thanks for the kind words. I think you can get the syllabus from the PRC-BOA website. Or pwede rin mag Google kalang. Good luck sa review. My younger brother is also reviewing now. Looking at him brings me back to those days na ako yung nag rereview. Basta always remember to trust the process, trust yourself and most especially trust God. YOU WILL BE A CPA. CLAIM IT NA 🙌

Hi Yam! Maybe you can try this study schedule. 2am - 6am Study 6am -7am Breakfast and Take a bath 😉 7am - 12nn Study 12nn - 1pm Lunch break 1pm - 6pm Study 6pm - 7pm Dinner 7pm to 2am SLEEP This was my study schedule back when I was reviewing for the boards. Take note of the one hour breaks for meals. I also used them for my social media breaks hehe Ikaw na bahala what subject to study on a particular day. I recommend na sundin mo lang ang pacing ng online review school mo para hindi ka masyadong ma overwhelm. You can also insert 15mins breaks in between para hindi ka antukin. But basically that's it. Hope this helps 😊
Hi! Thank you for this video sir. I plan on taking CPALE on May 2021 but for the past few months I have been struggling to review at home but this gave me motivation to study again. And do you recommend any authors/ books po? 😊🤗
Hi Bon! I know exactly how you feel right now. I've been slacking off from my readings too but I always make sure that even if I don't hit my daily target, I still read something, kahit konti lang. I think you can do the same. Slowly but consistently. For authors, I don't think it's wise to recommend new books to you since you're already reviewing. Stick with the books that you used during your undergrad. And focus on answering a lot of questions per subject. Here's a pro tip: for you to still be productive during this pandemic, you can try answering at least 20-30 questions per day. Kahit anong subject basta at least, even if you didn't really study, you were still able to practice. Make it a daily habit until the 30 questions become 60 and the 60 becomes 120 and so on. Kaya mo yan! 💪

Hello. I have a lot wahah pero the best for me is to constantly use (or recite) that info para tumatak talaga siya sa isip mo. Also, it would greatly help if you try to associate it with the things na palagi mong nakikita sa bahay. Para pag nakikita mo yun, maaalala mo yung info. Hope this helps 😊

Pano ko po kaya mapagkakasya yung 1 year para sipagin at ipush pa sarili ko? Thankyou
Hello Janela! I say you go back to your "why?" Bakit ka ba nag Accountancy in the first place? Para sa pamilya? Para sa sarili? Whatever may be that "Why?", balikan mo yun at isipin mo na ang lapit lapit mo na sa dulo. Of course, wag mo ding kalimutang magdasal. Know that God will see you through this battle. Tandaan mo na hindi mo lang laban to. Laban niyong dalawa to and that alone is enough for you to claim this victory as early as now. Know that God will not take you this far to only go this far. Madami siyang nakalaang biyaya para sa'yo. Kaya kapit lang at patuloy na lumaban. Start one step at a time. Wag mo biglain ang sarili mo. Soon enough I'm sure you'll get your groove back. Praying and rooting for you, Janela! 🙌
Paano po kapag magkasakit ka habang nag rereview, kagaya ng magka trangkaso o baka magka dengue. This is one that keeps popping up in my mind when its finally my time to go to Manila.
Hello po. This is a good question. I think that you can avoid having these illnesses as long as you live a healthy lifestyle during your review. Wag puro study lang. On your free time, you can do exercise kahit sa dorm mo lang. Plus, eat healthy food and if you can, take multivitamins to boost your immune system. You can do it. Just don't forget to take care of your physical health kahit na sobrang subsob kana in reviewing. 😉
Would 4 months self review & online review be enough to pass CPALE sir? 😅 And I am just depending on telegram for review materials/resource. Anyways, thank you for this sir! God bless 😇
Hi Princess! I think that it will all boil down to your preparation. 4 months can be a sufficient time for you to study all the subjects. Just make sure to create a study schedule and stick to it no matter what. I don't think there's much difference between online reviews and face to face reviews kasi review na naman siya and lecturers would not anymore ask questions for recitations or give quizzes. So feeling ko, if you just religiously and consistently stick to your schedule, you can definitely do it. I remember using audio lectures during my review days everytime I feel lazy to attend a class and sometimes it helps more kasi di ko na kailangan lumabas ng dorm or mag ayos heheh Ultimately though, it all depends on you. Set your eyes on the prize and surrender everything to the Lord. He can work wonders in your life. Fighting 💪

Can you please help? I already begun to study and I feel depressed knowing that I have zero chances of sitting for the exam? 😿
If you're planning to take it here in the Philippines, you will need to possess the qualifications as required in Article 3, Section 14 of Republic Act 9298. First, you must be a Filipino Citizen Second, you must be of good moral character Third, you must be a holder of a degree in BSA And lastly, you must not have been convicted of a crime involving moral turpitude. If you successfully meet these qualifications, then you may go ahead and apply with the PRC to take the exam. I hope this helps. Good luck!
@@jad4122 So are you planning to take the CPA exam in Morocco or somewhere else? I guess the qualification requirements will vary depending upon the country where you want to take the exam.
Hi Kristine! Sorry for the late reply. I didn't study all the subject at the same time. I made a schedule for each of the subjects depending upon my schedule of classes in the review center. So for example, if FAR was scheduled Monday, I'd also give Monday for FAR and so on. So since there were six subjects, I scheduled one subject per day until Saturday and left my Sundays free para at least I can still relax, unwind and even go to church. But again, as I said, only you can determine your perfect study schedule. Assess your ability to absorb and retain information and from there you can create a specific schedule fit for your needs. Tip ko lang is make sure that you're able to at least study all six subjects within a week and religiously follow your schedule so that it becomes a habit. Hope this helps. Good luck! 😊

Hi Uwu! One good way to retain what you have learned is to constantly apply or use it. Solve problems every now and then para di mo makalimutan yung concepts. For theories naman, it would help if you make a summary of the concepts para mabilis mo lang siya maa access once you need to confirm something. Good luck! Rooting for you 🙌

Hi kuya. Taking the boards on october, ilan hours po kyo mag aral nung nagrreview pa kayo? And normal lng po ba panghinaan ng loob. Thbkyou kuya godbless youu po!!!
Hi Yssa. I actually start reading at around 12midnight up to 10am with short breaks in between. That was my prime time kasi plus I liked studying during those hours kasi sobrang tahimik pa yung surroundings. It allowed me to focus more 😉 Yes. Sobrang normal lang panghinaan ng loob. Just like what I said in the video, more than a mental battle, this is also an emotional battle. I remember there was a time when my mom called tapos I cried buckets out of nowhere. But what really got me together was my faith in the Lord. I knew that he was always going to see me through that journey and he really did! Everytime I feel anxious or scared or in doubt, I always lean on him and pray. Tapos, don't forget to relax and unwind. Don't get too caught up with all your readings that you forget to give yourself a chance to breathe and have some fun. So find some time for yourself and forgive yourself for all your shortcomings. You're not perfect. No one really is 😉

Hi Rish! I don't know what school you go to but during my time, our qualifying exams were made by my professors and not merely copied from existing review materials. So what I did back then was to study the materials that we were given and study the problems that were discussed in class. It's almost always natural for a teacher to only ask about things that were tackled during class discussions. After going through my notes, I try to study different reviewers na but don't make this as a top priority or your first go-to option. Your first priority is always your subject manual/handout, if you have any, because more likely, the questions will be patterned from there. And then if you still have time, you can go ahead and try answering a few items from different review materials. There will be a lot of review materials for just one subject and at times it can be so overwhelming. So, just pick at least one review material per subject and you'll be good to go. Don't be pressured that your classmates are studying a different book or manual. More often than not, different books from different authors tell you exactly the same thing, albeit differently packaged. So study the concepts first and then try answering problems. The harder the problems, the better 😉 I hope this helps. Study well and pass your quali!

Hi Sir good day. Totoo po ba na Ang mga preboard ng review centers e.g. CPAR or RESA is 5 notch harder compared to the actual board exam, to give an allowance to the reviewees??
Hi Fin! Ganyan talaga usually. The pre-board exams conducted by review centers are extra harder than the actual CPALE. Sabi nga nila sa CPAR, pag makapasok ka sa Top 100 sure pass kana sa boards hehe But don't approach the CPALE thinking that it's easier. Baka kasi maging complacent ka. Always think that's it's difficult para 100% always ang focus mo. Hope this helps. Good luck!

For somehow you provided me comfort. Lalo na when you said that what you don't know is not enough to fail you. God bless Sir Cabidog
Hi Aima! Considering the situation that we are in today (i.e. COVID-19 pandemic) I would highly advise you to take the exam on October instead. The additional 6 months would definitely help you pass the CPALE. However, if you feel confident in taking the exam this May, then you may do so. It's still up to you to decide because you alone can assess if you're ready or not. But again, I highly advise that you take an additional 6 mos of review. It's just that there's so much going on right now and I don't think people are still in the proper mind frame to take mind-boggling exams such as the CPALE. I hope you find this helpful. Good luck!
Additional time would give you an edge in assuring and polishing your expected grade in the CPA exams. If you feel that you have some concepts that you need to reaffirm or master wholly. Then buy that extra time, and it guarantees your placement in that list.

Good luck 😊
Thank you po. Also, please include me in your prayers po, na maging CPA by May 2021 💛

Thank you so much!

6am -7am Breakfast and Take a bath 😉
7am - 12nn Study
12nn - 1pm Lunch break
1pm - 6pm Study
6pm - 7pm Dinner
7pm to 2am SLEEP
This was my study schedule back when I was reviewing for the boards. Take note of the one hour breaks for meals. I also used them for my social media breaks hehe
Ikaw na bahala what subject to study on a particular day.

Hi Jad! Are you planning to take the CPA exam here in the Philippines or somewhere else?
If you're planning to take it here in the Philippines, you will need to possess the qualifications as required in Article 3, Section 14 of Republic Act 9298.
First, you must be a Filipino Citizen
Second, you must be of good moral character
Third, you must be a holder of a degree in BSA
And lastly, you must not have been convicted of a crime involving moral turpitude.
If you successfully meet these qualifications, then you may go ahead and apply with the PRC to take the exam.
I hope this helps. Good luck!
Rey Franz Cabidog No i'm. A moroccan resident, I have no ties to any countries that offer the examination centers that's the problem
@@jad4122 So are you planning to take the CPA exam in Morocco or somewhere else? I guess the qualification requirements will vary depending upon the country where you want to take the exam.
how did you study for all parts at the same time?

Hi Yssa. I actually start reading at around 12midnight up to 10am with short breaks in between. That was my prime time kasi plus I liked studying during those hours kasi sobrang tahimik pa yung surroundings. It allowed me to focus more 😉
Yes. No one really is 😉

goodevening sir. sir anopong mabibigay nyo pong tips samin na magtatake ng quali. sir feeling ko hndi enough yung info na meron kami kaya bumili ako books pero diko alam kung uulitin ko ba or what :( sir...
The harder the problems, the better 😉
I hope this helps.

Good luck!

Planning to have another 6 months review. Due to cancelled review classes. Is it a good decision ba? 🥺
Good luck!
Thank you Sir! Such a big help! 😍
Additional time would give you an edge in assuring and polishing your expected grade in the CPA exams. If you feel that you have some concepts that you need to reaffirm or master wholly. Then buy that extra time, and it guarantees your placement in that list.
