In light of everything that she said you’d think BM and BW would treat each other better. I don’t see the compassion, empathy, or grace among us. If anything we’re harsher toward one another, more often than not.

That is such a generalization to which a more well round perspective would suggest that virtue and dysfunction defy racial categorization. Outside of our own sphere of knowledge we seem more prone to generalize. Give black people their flowers 🌹 just as you seen to throw bouquets at those who are not black.

Facts don’t care about feelings. It may be an ugly truth, but it’s THE truth about human nature. Dogs aren’t even that agreeable if they don’t know you. 😂 Every smart human is calculating about everything and everyone they allow into their lives. There’s a desirability gap between men and women. 9 times out of 10, the woman isn’t attracted to the man as much as the man is attracted to her. That’s where the so-called “benefits” come into play. 🤷‍♀️

Ok so here is my take. The black male female relationship has been fractured for some time now. And there is plenty of blame to go around for the fracture and continued disjointedness.
You can't negate what the sister was saying and in doing so you now have to discuss on the level inwhich she steered the conversation. There are many reasons but one huge one is socio-economic which is bigger than just money. There is a stark diff from the "ghetto fabulous" person who just recently came into some change vs the one who was raised in or has worked hard to obtain the change that they have. The conflict resolution is going to be diff the language is going to be diff the stimulus for the conflict in the first place is going to be diff when you factor in the economic stratus.
Although most problems are the same the way inwhich the problems come and how they are handled are diff as you go up the wealth pole. The way inwhich a poor poor person may deal with conflict is diff from the making ends meet person which is diff from the paycheck to paycheck person which is diff from the one who has just saved enough to get out of the neighborhood. Which will be diff from the one who has been raised with middle class means , then the upper middle class then the rich.
So yes the language will change (hurtful and total disrespectful) because no matter who you are cuss words can and will be used.
Coming from a person who was raised and still lives in the socalled liberal upper Midwest. A white woman is going to treat you the way in which she is allowed to treat you. And I don't care who the brother is he already knows that the white woman will have privileges and advantages that a sister will never have.
Now let's talk about conflict resolution. When things go left and the authorities are involved black men know going into it that there is a diff between the two. I've seen it far to often that the white woman first has the protection of the police first even when it's clear she is the perp. Then when it advances to in front of the judge best belive the scales of justice is skewed in the white woman's favor. For example when the marital assets are spit the white woman will get damn near 65% vs the sisters maybe 35%. And don't think that this is implied from the start. That's why the commentator said the white woman starts from a diff place than the black woman.
Examples would how was o.j. first wife treated vs Nicole, Barry bonds older set of children vs the ones by the white woman. The amount of money Michael Strahan had to shell out, would a sister have walked away with the type of money tigers wife got ( mind you she was the equvilant to the poor girl from the projects before tiger put those children in her) would the payouts be the same if they were sisters?
Having had to go back and forth to family court I would be sitting in the gallery listening to the shit that white women would be awarded vs what black women were awarded. Mind you this is all in the socalled liberal upper Midwest.
And for the record just sit in the courtroom and you'll see what it is that I'm saying.

At the end of the day it is not about how well you can articulate your gender war argument, all that really matters is how well your product sells on the dating/marriage market. I think black womens attitudes has nothing to do with economics or race. But more to do with seeing their moms, aunts, friends act like that and picking it up. Social media just makes it worse. As you see black women picking up the same catch phrases, gestures and lango. Very robotic and Im seeing it with nieces.
Also to some extent the lady is right. Black men do not approach women the same way white men do. Its always with aggression or too direct. True.. a prime example im a mixed BLK/Irish woman from the hood.. when I dated men from my area I was too white for them.. when I dated 9-5 guys no matter the race it’s a different conversation & dating objectives all together.. the social economic part of what “Bridgette” said is true! It’s based on a lack of everything mostly w/ any guy from a poverty area..

What she is expressing is. White women would force herself to be comfortable in any type of relationship if their economic plays a part. Financial freedom through marriage is a big advantage. It’s easier to build a house with someone else. Black women were already setup to mentally be in survival mode. We have to work ten times harder to make sure we live comfortably.
