You made such a great point - the constant comparisons and insecurities between Peter and Paul as siblings in the same group were clearly huge underlying factors. When you add fame, egos and money into the mix, a blowup was probably inevitable unfortunately.
But like you said, the key is that they've grown from it all. Their break up was super annoying at the time because they're family, so it just hit different seeing brothers feuding so publicly.
I have mad respect for them putting it all aside to reunite in 2021 though. Clearly there's a tight bond there that overcame the past dramas. Hoping they've really learned from it all as they move forward.

Im a Ghanaian and was in Junior High school when 'Get Squared' was released. A Nigerian classmate gave me the CD and I didn't want to give it back to him😂😂😂😂

Each time I am playing any music, he filters it and tells me what he loved and what was missing
But for Psquare, everything was good to him

We are not even Igbo people so imagine the love

Even though People would say that one danced better while the other was a better singer, I never knew the difference in the early days..... Get squared, senorita, etc. They both danced and sang well and to be honest, I preferred Paul's dancing in Senorita.... The exposed their differences and people started capitalising on their differences. For example, "Roll it" came and it was obvious that these two wanted to be different.
You're absolutely right. In the early days, it was impossible to distinguish between Peter and Paul's talents - they both sang and danced incredibly well on tracks like "Get Squared" and "Senorita."
However, as they grew more famous, their subtle differences got magnified. Fans started pitting them against each other - saying one danced better, the other sang better. You could see them intentionally trying to establish more distinct identities to stand out.
Those constant comparisons and capitalization on their discrepancies, rather than celebrating their diversity as a duo's strength, clearly bred unhealthy egos and competitiveness over time. An insightful take on how the seeds of their split were sadly sown.

But let me add that the clip would have been better if there was more information on the new and re-energized P-square of the past year or so with more clips of sold-out tours.
It appears as though the clip is " the rise and fall of p-square". But the caption of the video is "...:where are they now".They are rejuvenated, not fallen,I believe.
Social media and malicious fans' comments were predominantly what led to their ' break-up' then.
It would be nice for social media to present the "good energy" of the re-united p-square.And social media should promote healthy societal issues too.

This is an interesting documentary but I feel alot is missing here ; Psquare had their first split rumor in 2009 - It reflected in their 3rd studio album . There was a lot of talk about the brothers not respecting Peter's choice for a spouse.

For Jude to disrespect Mr P's wife that shows Jude is onesided, for Jude to open up that Paul is the music behind psquare, that's unfair as a elder brother, Jude signing Cynthia Morgan behind psquare too stimulates fire infact from the story line Jude caused this break up, remember Jude didn't attend to Peter's marriage
I can understand your perspective on placing a lot of blame on Jude for the P-Square breakup. From the surface level, some of his actions like disrespecting Peter's wife, claiming Paul was the sole musical genius, and signing Cynthia Morgan behind their backs - those all seem like clear displays of taking sides unfairly.
However, I don't think we can point the finger solely at Jude as the singular cause of the split. These fraternal feuds and ego clashes tend to be extremely multi-layered and complex, with plenty of hurt feelings and mistakes made by all parties involved.
While Jude may have poured gas on the fire at times with some inadvisable moves, we also have to consider the insecurity, jealousy and lack of open communication that was likely brewing between the twins themselves for years as their brand grew.
Their individual desire to step out of each other's shadows, doubts over credit and royalties, creative differences - all that emotional baggage was a tinderbox waiting to explode regardless of who the manager was.
So in that sense, your critique of Jude holds weight in terms of his inability to be an effective neutral mediator to unite them. But the deeper root causes stem from Peter and Paul's own fractured brotherhood and lack of mutual understanding of each other's roles.
It's an incredibly nuanced situation where both sides likely have plenty of blame to go around. What's most important is that they've now realized the lessons from that toxic cycle of jealousy and have worked to rebuild their bond as siblings first....
