- We are finally here after a long and gruelling campaign, thanks to all of you who have supported the playthrough and given comments, likes and even just your viewership is greatly appreciated.
At the beginning you'll see me swap Loric Santors force sword for the weeping blade, this is because of a comment from lordNiKon1988 who reminded me that Mortarion has a natural -50% crit chance. Thanks to lordNiKon1988 I remembered to swap to this blade that has a much higher crit chance when using force strike. This meant we were able to keep critical striking Mortarion in the fight keeping his various weapons disabled.
The only other change I decided to go with was to vary our Dreadnaught up for he final fight. I had been using the rockets for so long and they were very good crowd control and ranged attacks but I wanted something with a little more punch in this final fight. Insert the Nemesis Doom Fist upgrade, a few episodes ago I noticed it's incredible stun potential and knew I wanted to try it out. With it fully upgraded our Dreadnaught does 9 stun damage with one hit in this episode and affords up multiple execution kills that give our whole Rear Guard squad extra AP. It was very fun charging the Dreadnaught in with its extra armour and smashing the enemy around the battle field. I am certain you guys are gonna enjoy it!

The Paladin was hitting critical hits left right and centre even when the chance was as low as 15%-25%, and that was the reason why the rearguard fought so well. Truly worthy as a paladin eh?
And, congrats on finishing this. Been watching since episode 1, and I must say, in the first episodes you were almost a punching bag for the enemy. An amazing journey, and take a well-earned break, yeah?
I couldn’t believe how the Paladin was hitting those shots, I was laughing every time, he had the emperor’s blessings for sure.

Watching you do battle gives me an inkling of what it feels like to be a space marine in the world of 40K. And Kartha Vakir, proud member of the Imperium has fallen in battle. You know, the Dreadnought could only truly show it's full potential when paired with a Tech Marine. They seem to rely on Servitors for combat and support tech based warriors
I hope this game gets an epic sequel and Games Workshop are more open to making more games like this. And focus on different chapters as well. And other chaos gods minions like Tzeentch and Slaanesh.
I actually think with the doom fist he’s better off with a full squad of knights behind him. Techmarine just seems weak at this point, leaving enemies alive so you can return fire and set up traps is just weird, killing them outright is preferable.
100% agree and I’m sure they will in the future. There is plenty of content for them to go into so I’m sure more games are coming.

So any ideas on what the next dlc campaign should be about? Mine is facing either the chaos undivided legions (iron warriors or wordbearers) or downright facing emperor's children (I haven't seen in the lore where they faced those hedonists. World Eaters on armageddon, death guard obviously on the game, and the thousand sons in M41 during guiliman's ressurection)
In terms of this game? There has been no word so far but hopefully they add something on.
My next campaign will be the new chaos dwarfs in total war as soon as the dlc becomes available.
I was also thinking of doing a Dawn of War 1 play through to keep the 40k videos going.
