❤ We certainly are very lucky & spoilt for choice with slot cars now. Things have come so far from the humble Scalextric cars I had back in the early 80's. It's a fantastic time to be in the hobby. Love the look of the RevoSlot & BRM Datsuns. I don't have a BRM 1/24 yet but might have to get a 240Z even though I'm a Ford guy! 😅
Wow, those RevoSlot Datsun 510s look amazing! I hope they eventually do the 240Z in 1/32 as well. I will definitely get a 510 or two! I'm with you Dave, I do like the C7 Corvette better than the C8 as well. Scale Auto and NSR have done a great job with their C7 versions. Thanks for the news!
when i'm able to start clearing up that area of the garage and get the lights set up so you could see if it I was recording on it. Soon I think. If I can I'll start cleaning up this Sunday and Monday when I'm off.
Wow, another slot car onslaught! Aren't you forgetting the new BRM Ford GT40s which are my personal favourites? Question is whether Race Track Scenics is going to run the same board with Travis's 'emporium' splashed all over it? 🤣🙂 There's certainly room for both of you on most people's layouts and I think either of you would find a bit miffed if any favouritism is being shown. Mooreover, all this is a sign that we are now gearing in the run up to the Christmas holiday season. I feel 'spoilt rotten' with all this from over the course of the last three years.
You’re in the US right? Mostly in the US it’s been 124 because the commercial tracks survived but the homeset companies died. In Europe it’s mostly been 132 since the beginning of slot cars. They haven’t ever had commercial tracks like we’ve had here in the US. Now most every slot company is European. They dabble in 124 but it’s much more focused on 1/32.
@@SlotCarNewsOfficial yeah I started with revell track and two 124s but Knoxville of all places had one big 6or8 laner there that raced only 124s..what a blast that was.. enjoyed the dirt super modified , those super fast all wing ones , including the nascar ones all later in 95 , but this town no longer has 3 cool tracks in one place.. if I had to choose one them id say the smaller super modifies on the smaller figure 8.. it felt like a real race for me if I raced a real one i thought..you had a choice of two motors that depending how you raced you go fast and slow down or go a bit slower and nail those corners with a smaller brake entry that had the advantage in the corners carrying a smoother momentum that kept you both from sliding out with greater power and kept you from having to be very precise in judging the right corner speed with a faster car but would get caught in the straight with the other motor.. led to neck and neck 8 lane excitement.. thats my start and finish around 95..nothing beats it for excitement.. I wasnt into the drag races , .. but it would be neat to have an all American Slot Car drag race take place in my imagination somewhere and pay out some big money.. probably a girl would be kickin ass .. we had two girls in our class who beat everyone in reaction time when a light was turned either off or on , I would never have guessed .. those were the days in 66 when everything was pretty normal .. Im 72 now , miss the beatles slot car racing and glad I missed viet nam.. that was scary and I was going to church but was not 100per cent sure about anything .. the only thing I was sure about was death and I tried to do my best to forget about it..my motorcycle and 57 kept me happy and my mind off of vietmam... I have to thank God for his hand in that cause I was drafted and was then classified AWOL and thank the good Lord im still alive to talk about how lucky I was to escape that whole ordeal... Well enough now my friend , guess I should have been born a 🦜 parrot..take care and God be with you on your journey... Thanks for the info and enjoy your slot cars , im envious..

Whoa! Great news on the 510s. I think I'll just have a perpetual pre-order with Revo Slot.😂
Oh my gosh... I've been waiting for a 240z... for long time. Great news Dave

I'm not forgetting them, there are no publicly released photos of those that I can use. Until they do that there will be no reporting here.
Very cool billboard! Congrats!
Lol yeah it’s fun!
Those 240Zs will be sweet!
I also prefer the front engine Vette. The Mid Engine Vette looks like the NSX.
My track is 90 ft. 4 lane Scaley, painted - and my Home Series cars, when tuned, can be as fast as the Race versions!!
Hey,, who You callin a Nerd?
I'm a Pleb slob!
Dig that Can Am.
Good News thanks Champ.
You missed! Shoot again, Michael David Jordan! KooL billboard, & Can Am. Remind me of L&M cigarette one.

I raced one 24th in the 60s..why has it gone to all one 32th now...
