the top producers do minimal marketing and focus entirely on content, views on youtube or views from marketing campaigns are still views but one just costs money. 80/20 marketing will make most prods go broke before they start, new prods focus on making good content and understand organic traffic takes patience and grows exponentially
Marketing doesn’t mean you have to spend money. I get what you are trying to say but the whole point of the 100 beats uploads was your point of focusing on good content as you need to build up a portfolio of work. Once you start to get a decent sized catalogue though if you aren’t try to market beats to artists, whether that be emailing marketing, messaging artists on instagram etc you are missing out on a lot of potential sales. I also never said in this video that I’ll be spending money on ads.
