This year I’ve had over 200 free downloads but only 3 sales… it feels good I am inspiring people to download the beat and write but it’s frustrating it almost never translates to an eventual sale. Anybody got advice?

great video as always and congrats on your sales, you are smashing it! i wanted to ask you for advice me having UK customers, what is in your opinion best way to deal with all service fee and conversion into pounds? basically customer prefers to purchase directly trough a beatstore and i would like to know which store out of them would save him the most money and even if possible set pounds for this particular sale? beatstore and paypal combo is killing me 😓thanks

Hey Joe! Great video as always dude!. I’ve now got both Pro Plans for BeatStars & Soundee. I’ve never made a sale on either. Like you Joe, I direct everyone to my Soundee page. But I’m beginning to think maybe I should direct them to BeatStars instead. I feel that Soundee really mainly caters for Trap & R&B, and not Pop & Indie. Do you think I should redirect people to my BeatStars page? And I being inpatient? I stated back in March

why no clips of the holograms?

Well... the CLA plugin is average at best. The sonics of the plugin are not percise and the verb is mushy, making the plugin only useable for amature work. We professionals do not use tools that do not maintain the tight sonic character of what we feed it. If you use real professional equipment it's easy to understand why the CLA suite of Waves plugins is not considered anything but average. I personally find it unusable as a plugin suite, but then again I am a multi-platinum professional that has real credits in the real world.

How far back do soundee's statistics go? I don't get why beatstars only allows me to see the last 90 days... Is it possible to see exactly who (which email address) has downloaded which beat, if offering free downloads?

The beatstore does not matter that much. Any beatstore you choose you have to bring traffic to it to make it work.

Hey I have a question. Whats a good click through rate for type beat videos?

I've never heard of this feature, but I can't get it to work at all in Logic 11.0.1. Unless of course it doesn't work on Flex Pitch tracks... then it's quite useless because I'm definitely also pitch correcting and matching one vocal track to another. And of course Flex Pitch ALSO has the ability to fix timing (manually). Does this Groove track feature simply move stuff around, or does it also time expand/compress the vocals to match the groove master, like Vocalign does?
