Yeah I think it makes it a bit more realistic, sometimes the climb is the most beautiful part of the ride too so I try to show if there's interesting parts!
I think that area has such a perfect mix of things because you have loamy forest but you're also close enough to tahoe and the mountains to get some granite riding too.
Thanks! This trail is amazing, just went back and rode Braille which was just as good but quite different haha. I’m on a 2020 Santa Cruz Bronson in this video!
I actually just went back and rode Braille, it was awesome, much recommended. Definitely gotta get out there and hit these trails. And yes I do! I mostly post my rock climbing content on there but here's a link: instagram.com/hobbygoblintyler/
@HobbyGoblinTyler most over ever done by about 1000ft. For 2700+ ft ot was still barely worth it. If I could learn the area better I think I can put in the same vert but also get braile in there, that'd be SICK!!!!. If you go again, get the way out 🙏
Wow that’s actually crazy you could’ve done both! Yes I’m planning on hitting braille next time too, haven’t seen as many people talk about it but I think it’s actually more my style of riding!
I really like that you include the peddle portion to the trails. Makes for better expectations for the trails.

Hell yeah man. Awesome stuff. Nice job hitting the features on Ridge!!!
Thanks so much. Have you hit Braille yet? That's probably more my style, I need to get back here and check it out soon.
@@HobbyGoblinTyler yeah.. Braille is definitely spicier. I have a couple videos of it on my channel.
I’ll have to check them out!
Just subscribed as well.
Thanks I appreciate it! :) subscribed to you as well!
Nice trail,you got a new sub,✌️
Thanks I appreciate it! Loved this trail, it’s pretty famous for a reason.
I miss living in Santa Cruz Fremont is not the same😭😭😭

Soooo much pedaling! I swear my friend got lost. How much elevation/ miles dod you clock, please
It was a LOT, but definitely worth it. Just took a look at my Strava, it was 2,127 ft of elevation and 16.51 miles!
@@HobbyGoblinTyler yeah, mine says 2737ft 14.3 miles. We got lost for sure.
That’s a huge day, I don’t think I’ve ever done more than 2500 vert.
