      @@wildandfreevictoria no worries:). Yeah I'm doing good thanks. Gotten back into the habit of photographing seascapes. Morocco is a pretty awesome country for that amongst many other forms of photography.

    Victoria, thank you so much for sharing this video. I'm so excited I will be in Africa next month and traveling in the Kenya region. I plan on taking my XH2S and the 100-400mm lens. Do you have any recommendations for shooting while I'm there? This is my first Safari.

    Hey - thanks for this great insight into a safari. We want to do one next year and this video - as well as your video on the Fuji Xf 100-400 - was a great help. Your shots are really great and a real inspiration!
    Do you have any rough tips on the settings you used? Your ISO settings, for example, would be really great to know :)
    Thank you so much!

      Thank you very much for watching! I am glad that my video was a great help and very kind of you to say that it is a inspiration, thank you for saying this. I got pretty lucky with the weather so I kept my shutter speed higher and ISO as low as I could but compensate where you need to. Take a little scarf of stuff sack that you can pop over your lens/camera because the safari can get really dusty! take lots of spare batteries and memory cards but mainly, have a fantastic time and take it all in 🙃

    OMG. We are so much on the same wave length with photographing wildlife Victoria. My photos of the Kruger National Park are so much like your photos of the Kenyan wildlife. Can I recommend Costa Rica for one of your next trips, it will tick all your boxes regarding wild, free and being you, the perfect photographer and videographer location. 👍

      Great minds ey! 🙃 it’s so lovely to read you are on the same wavelength! I bet your photos from Kruger are beautiful! What was you favourite animal to shoot? That is a fabulous recommendation! I will definitely add it to my list, I have had someone else recommend it and now you, so it must be a sign. Thank you very much 🙃✌🏻

    How is Fujis bokeh performance,?

    • @wildandfreevictoria
      @wildandfreevictoria  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      On the 100-400mm lens on in general? I use the 23mm, 33mm, 35mm and 56mm as well and they are all fantastic for bokeh 🙃

    • @buyang1376
      @buyang1376 ปีที่แล้ว +1

    • @buyang1376

      Yes 100-400 ?

    • @wildandfreevictoria
      @wildandfreevictoria  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Well as the aperture is f/4.5-5.6 the bokeh isn’t in comparison to wider apertures like the 23mm or 56mm. But you can still get bokeh with the 100-400mm that’s to compression with the telephoto lens, but yeah just not the same that is all 🙂
