At 64 I still love and relate to this tune. I did time in prison and always felt free because of my spirit - 36 years ago. The only part I don't relate to is shooting dope because I never have. I never learned the rules. Evil and wreckage? Seen it firsthand. I grew up in Illinois and spent time in 6 juvenile joints and 3 Illinois prisons. I love this song!! These boys get it!!

All of these years later, this song (actually album). Still gives me goosebumps. I'm happy that it does.
