No. It's more proof that almost all popular songs in general are the same. there's even very convincing sounding smash mouth dragonforce songs on the internet. all you have to do is change the key of the song and tempo to match and you get a mashup. if one is a minor key and one is a major key then auto tune the minor notes by 1 half step and you get songs that match up.
Or move them to the relative minor or major of the key they're in.
They're all the same honestly. You don't even have to change the tempo, just the key.
@@Treble_V2 I think you have it backwards. If you ignore the key, sure, it'll sound tense and harsh. But still musical.
But if you ignore the tempo, they'll drift into and out of sync, which really only works if you're Steve Reich.
They really do though lol. they all follow the same structure for the most part and most sections follow the same idea. sustained chord choruses n such.
Now mix OGAP with TTFAF and Cry For Eternity....that will be the stuff of nightmares for George

They fit so well because of autotune and transposition, they aren't the same song, they're just tuned into the same key by whoever made this.
It actually uses OPAP as its base and adds/replaces sections with elements from TTFAF.
TTFAF is entirely in C minor and stays at the same tempo the entire time, whereas OPAP has sections in D minor, B minor, C# minor and the final chorus is raised to D# minor with multiple tempo changes.
The song structures are very similar though, even if they are not identical.

The exact way this is shifted down multiple steps is perfect and the mixes is perfect.
They go together so well because Dragonforce plays the majority of their songs in the key of C.
And they say The Avengers was the most ambitious crossover.

My main problem with this mashup is the two songs don’t share the same progression. Which means that when you play a combo of parts from the songs-take the verses for instance-it sounds very off due to the mismatched chords
