If the timing is locked out and set right. It'll start that fast with bigger cams. Most people can't get enough initial timing. Then the car idles rich and they can never figure it out. Constant tapping the pedal to fire. My 355 with a isky cam fires like that with locked out timing at 36 degrees. Without it, it sucks.
Yes, that was sitting overnight. Temp outside wasn’t very cold but she starts like that everytime in the morning. It barely cranks and fires right up everytime. It’s called perfect timing and a good carb
Thank you. It does do the opposite though which I don’t understand, driving it for a while when it’s warm if I run to the store and come back out she doesn’t fire up like that. It will crank for a little while and I have to pump the gas for it to start.
I was expecting a long crank but fired up no prob.
Why wouldn't it?
Sounds really good 😮
Sounds awesome 👏

@@hessz24 I've seen some brisk runnin' and firing motors. But your Chevelle starts quicker cold than any I've encountered. Well done sir.

@@hessz24 sounds like gas boiling out of the carb. Try a spacer
