How did you pay for the hotel? Probably not with a credit card. If you paid with a credit card, you can dispute the charge with your credit card company.
I paid through booking.com and the policy was no refund for that specific booking. Normally I would be fine with that, but it isn't like I had the room booked for days and blocked off from other people to reserve. It really wasn't expensive (or I wouldn't have booked to begin with). I am just upset that I can't leave any review or comment with booking.com and that I paid for a place I never even got to see.
